It really depends on which mods you want. If there's nothing that's exclusive to Skyrim SE, then no.

No. You can play a fine game of Skyrim with Legendary Edition instead. It requires a little more work to make it stale but has the advantage of (currently) having more mods available for it.

well i just bought the orignal copy becauside im to eger to habe it nooow. thank you very much  for your reply. going by ps4 mods ive alreaady run into bugs so im kinda not rtying to hope to hihgh. will the current moddding software work for the orignal?
