Need Advice for SL Defeat and SL Deadly Drain

Encountering a regular issue in SL Defeat and I want to know if there is a solution.  There is a function in SL Deadly Drain I cannot figure out how to use, but technically no errors or bugs.  So Defeat first.

 

In SL Defeat I can press a button (mapped to "0" for me) to open a menu mid sex act and select a different animation.  Most of the time it works, but after one or a few encounters, the menu gets stuck on the last option and no matter what I do I cannot change it.  As someone with a lot of animations, cycling through them is a pain in the ass.  Is there a way to resolve this menu bug?  Is there a better mod for selecting the animations I want to use?

 

For SL Deadly Drain: There is a manual drain option.  But I cannot figure out how to use the drain till death option while in manual.  In auto drain I press the mapped button and is says "victim will be drained to death" and then at the end they die.  I press the button during manual drain and it says "victim will be drained to death" but no matter how much draining I do, they survive with the tiniest sliver of health.  How do I kill in manual drain mode?

i had similar trouble when i first used defeat and DD.

check the hotkeys arent co-assigned.

Are you sure you arent trying to drain essential/protected NPC's?,

i suspected that because defeat was running the submission it blocks DD from performing the kill (but i don't know)

i used SLSO and set drain on orgasm with SLDD worked everytime for me as long as npc's arent essential.

Drain to death did work but i think it depended on what was running the submission either PAHE or Defeat or Combat sex shout. 

i remember DD was a pain in the ass to get working properly...ish. but i was happy with it.

I have drain essential enabled.  I've played the game enough to know which essentials are actually essential.  I've checked all the hotkeys.  For some reason they just don't die when I use manual.

Hey so I gave the mod a try.  I really like it, but I'm having the same glitch where once in a while (usually after about 5 acts) the menu gets stuck and doesn't work until I reload the file.  Any ideas on what I can do to fix this?  I even tried reducing my total animations to make sure it wasn't an issue of having too many.

How does it get stuck specifically?
A papyrus log might be helpful here

I can still engage in sex acts, advance stages, finish, and play the game.  But lets say I did a lesbian animation, then it gets stuck.  On the next sex act (even male/female/group/etc) the menu only lists the previous lesbian acts, and has the last act I used selected.  Now I can still do all the other things I mentioned before, and I can change the scene using sexlabs base hotkeys.  However, I cannot use SL defeat of SL tools to change the sex scene or the menu.  if I select another act, it will give me a message saying it's playing that act but nothing will change.  it will continue whatever sex scene was on and leave it at that.

 

It doesn't always get stuck with lesbian acts.  It can get stuck on any previous set, whatever the last set of conditions were, that's the menu I'll be dealing with until I reload the save file.  (To clarify, I can save and reload right there.  The issue does not persist if I save.  I just have to reload the save.

 

I'm not sure how to get a papyrus log for this particular event.  I can turn logging on and wait for it to happen.  But I don't know which logs are which, because it always creates several documents, some quite big.
