I have a problem, there is no boss in the office and i cant even get a promotion even though my work is at excellent for 2 whole weeks

I'm having an issue. I placed the building and its saying not all requirements met but its not showing what the requirement is. shows up as (0/1) in red but doesn't have what item I need just the number.

This seems to be for me the problem as well.

The boss is nowhere.

I do not want to uninstall everything. That has to work somehow.

Can you assign someone else perhaps?

I have Sims 4 and Get to Work. Maybe i am missing something?

Hi I have an problem with making a venue. There is one furniture missing. Unfortunelly when I click on it (empty tab) it shows "No objects". Should I reinstall the mod?

I cannot follow my sim to work when they go. I am only level one of the career, does that make a difference?

Not sure if it matters, but if you build that office in the building menu from the gallery, you have to select RedApple and not residential. For some reason residential does not allow you to enter.

That was my experience anyway.

I had the same issue.
You are missing the "Get to work" expansion it is the reception desk

Just wanted to add that I'm having the same problem as previous posters - coworkers show up fine, but no boss ever spawns so I can't do the third track of job tasks. I have Get to Work, the venue list, the RedAppleNet building, placed it with move objects on, and made sure the lot type was a RedAppleNet office and it's still not working.

I went through every day and removed the mod. but since i can't find the fruity office with me, i heard a personal one. The only problem is that the boss doesn't come and I don't know why. what can i change and where?

I don't know the answer to this, but you might try to assign a different boss.  This action works on the patreon version but I can't say it works for the public (loverslab) version.

 

When your character isn't on the RedAppleNet lot and it isn't time for work for your character, shift-click on your character (you might need to type "testingcheats on" in the console).  Find and click on the RedAppleNet bubble.  If there is a bubble for "Un-assign Boss" click that first.  Then click on "Assign Boss".  A list of NPCs will pop up.  Choose an NPC who isn't placed in the world (the list might filter out ineligible NPCs).

 

If that doesn't work, then I don't know, but it's worth a try.

One of the posts on the previous page from February says the option to assign a boss is patreon only. The public version hasn't been updated since January. I've even tested it in my own game that uses the public version and there is no RedAppleNet bubble when I shift-click my sim.
It seems like the current public version doesn't work properly. There are more than a few posts here having the same problem from all the way back in February and it's almost May.

I had a problem w this career :c When I'm going at work I don't have a boss... And after that, i'm checking your change logs on your website and when i press Shift + click on my Sims I don't see the RedApple Cheats menu to assign a boss... ToT I just delet the mods and reinstall it but the problem is still there ?

Hi, I like this mod but for a reason I don't understood, there is no boss in the Red Apple office. Also I have no cheat when I press SHIFT on my sim to attribuate a boss by myself. Is that an know error ? I've installed the mod like you describe on your website, and I use your NO CC building for Red Apple Office, I use the AEP Venue List. So if you can help me, it will be very cool ! (sorry for my english, not my mother tongue  )

not using MCCC, I have the pack needed and ww and the files are in the mod that needs to go there and tray for the others but I still come to work and there is not a single person there.

I have exactly the same problem. Honestly I don't know what MCCC means, but everything else is exactly the same. The task says: 2 "chat with co-workers" or "chat with the boss" and there is not a single person in the office.

I have this "working" as in the office is populated, the tasks are checked off as I do them etc... however after going to work 5+ times it is incredibly repetitive and you always seem to be close to running out of time. I am able to complete the tasks with the boss for the promotion, but my meter never goes higher than the last green section. I never get promoted and the next day is all the same thing. Does this ever change or have I pretty much maxed out anything I can do with this mod?

You can extend the working time a bit by clicking on the timer in the top left corner, if you need a bit more time.

By "completing tasks with the boss", I assume you mean that the tasks are checked off and then eliminated from the task list?  Are you also completing other tasks on the task list, I think they count, but maybe not as much as the boss tasks.

Have you been promoted at all?  I can remember one step for certain, but I can't remember if there is another.  Does your boss change almost every shift?  I don't know if the level of your relationship with the boss matters or not.

Yeah I have extended the day, completed all boss tasks on multiple days plus completed nearly all the other two task lists on the same day. I think it's just broken. Thanks though. :)

Unfortunately, with so many people having problems, the public version might be hosed. 

Things you have probably tried, but just in case ...

    Look through your mod files in C:/[your nym]/My Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/Mods for any files with a filename starting with "=RedAppleNet" (without the quotes, of course).  There should be three, duplicates can mess things up.  Check for duplicate venues, although it sounds like you aren't having that kind of problem.  I imagine it's marginally possible the boss you have could have a trait which causes problems, but I'd expect that as long as you complete tasks, promotions should still happen.  Unfortunately, I think you can't change the boss in the public version.

 

Kusuihuh has been somewhat absent from their patreon but does show up on their discord occasionally.  I'm sorry that I'm not much help.

change "=RedAppleNet=.ts4script" file directly under Mods folder! Mine solved!
