Reasons to Buy a Wii-U

I like many am still not convinced by the Wii U, but Xenoblade Chronicles on Wii to me was a system seller, that game was a must play and anyone that missed it you REALLY missed out. Now there may be a sequel for it....and it looks freaking amazing. I was not thinking about getting a Wii U for a long time but this is making me think maybe I will give it a chance in a year or so if more games are released.

I agree that Xenoblade was a great game (the best game on the Wii probably) but saying that it is worth buying a full game system for this one game is over the top for me.

It will definitly not push me toward buying a Wii U just to play the sequel.

Bought mine a month ago that's why I haven't been here lately xD.

I already have my God set spending hundreds of hours on MH3U and made a bunch of friends online :D

Had to take some side jobs to get the money but its definitly worth it in.

Can't wait the for new releases.

I wasn't really implying that but if you had a Wii and you didn't play Xenoblade then you missed out. That's what I meant. I don't think any game is ever a system seller these days, not when you are going to be spending upwards of $300 just for the box.

"Nintendo games are too childish" HAHAHA

Yeah Zelda is a so mature game indeed..... and what about Mario? A game that really changed my vision of the world.....

Then why can't my 11 year old cousin finish the game. He managed to beat Modern Warfare in a cinch.

He can't even get past the  Maze area at Wind Waker, heck he can't even beat MetaRidley.

Here's the way I see it, if a child can beat a game then thats the one I categorize a "childish game" HAHA

LOL!

I haven't forgotten why I buy games in the first place, the same reason why I bought an NES when I was 9.

Hear's a hint: read my sig lol

Because your little cousin is lazy and used to casual gaming, that does not mean that a world with friendly dinosaurs, giant mushrooms and so on is not childish, I even suspect that your little cousin finds it too childish for its tastes and is more attracted to realistic worlds like Modern Warfare :)

Not "casual" or "realistic", more like brain dead HAHA

Yeah really realistic with the whole getting shot at countless of times and has regenerating health.

And don't get me started about their Community, kinda ironic HAHA

It's worth buying a system if it's an Ys game. That's why I'm taking the nearly 400 USD hit and getting the damn thing when Memories of Celeta finally comes out in the US in a few months.

The Wii U needs an Ys game!

I have a reason why not to buy a Wii U.  Two words: region lock.

Yeah Nintendo are looking particularly archaic and stupid now that even Microsoft have relented on region locks (and Sony have steered clear of that bullshit for years now).

How I pity those who haven't played games on the ps1, ps2, snes, gamecube, Wii, and N64.

Ahh my childhood was completely awesome HAHA

And I pity those who didn't grow up with Sega Consoles :P

AND THE WAR RAGES ON! (I'm British were the the Mega Drive sold more than the SNES because Genesis does what Nintendon't lol)

I pity those who didn't grow up with The X-Files, Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon. Believe it or not Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon we're actually good in the 90's, amazing actually. When tv shows actually had balls, instead of all the politically correct bullshit nowadays.

ANWAY, way off topic lol.

Oh and anyone that didn't get to play Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars as a kid, I feel sorry for you.

I'll make it easier for him.

I'll give you two hints, all of the consoles I mentioned have this feature.

Last hint, Two words: BLAH BLAH

HAHA

Love the smell of Hipocracy in the morning HAHA
