Dr Pepper, PhD Posted November 18, 2019 Posted November 18, 2019 I followed this guide for installing body mods and I used combination b because I'm familiar with CBBE when I played skyrim and for some odd reason I still get the vanilla bodies. And I even reinstalled them to make sure I chose the right options and they still don't work. I'm on the latest fallout 4 and using mod organizer 2.
Uncle64 Posted November 18, 2019 Posted November 18, 2019 Simple question. Have you sorted your left side in MO2?
Dr Pepper, PhD Posted November 19, 2019 Author Posted November 19, 2019 well kinda since I put the loose creation club mod files in one mod that I put above the other mods

I'm not using body talk, I'm using the "Advanced Animation Framework Modders Resource" that was linked in the guide for male body mods. also the guide didn't say anything about building the bodies. I'm not sure how to do that.

You will Need to build the Female CBBE Body in Bodyslide with the morph Box ticked for any Animations to work, else your just going to get the default female EVB With no animations.
Dr Pepper, PhD Posted November 19, 2019 Author Posted November 19, 2019 I built the body and outfit files and even made sure they showed up in MO2 and the female bodies and male bodies are STILL the vanilla bodies. maybe it works like the older fallouts where you need some sort of archive invalidation but then again wouldn't the tutorial I followed say something about it.

Could you post your install order/Load order in a spoiler.

Oldwolf58 Posted November 19, 2019 Posted November 19, 2019 The easiest way to find out what is controlling your body is to look in MO2 on the data tab, go to meshes, actors, character, character assets and you should see this: or something similar and it will tell you if CBBE or some other mod is running the body. If you Don't see anything here then CBBE isn't installed correctly or the meshes were not placed in the proper directory when they were created.
Dr Pepper, PhD Posted November 19, 2019 Author Posted November 19, 2019 So I looked at another guide at it had a section on enabling mods for fallout 4 and it turns out I'm right, archive invalidation wasn't enabled. Once I used the ini editor to add the line (both to fallout4.ini and fallout4custom.ini for redundency), both male and female bodies worked. I most have disabled it not knowing it had to be on when I copied the ini files from "My Games" (after using geforce experience to change game settings) and overwriting the inifiles in the MO2 profile. thanks to both of you for taking the time to help me though.
