I have SE and downloaded a special version of Ion for it. Everything works well without any bugs except Ion.

Just to check: is the quest stage: "Elsie and Ion are happy, so are you" the latest one?

If you go to console and do:

sqv elv_sisters

 

look at quest stage. If it says 58, that's as far as it goes for now. It stays running and doesn't get marked as completed because I'm planning to continue it.

I experienced a weird and fun bug with Ion and Elsie.

 

When arriving in Kynesgrove I accidentially spoke to an NPC instead of Elsie, which made the NPC trigger the dialogue actually meant for Elsie.

 

After that I entered the inn and spoke to Ion, who told me that she wasn't whom I was looking for. So I spoke to the inn keeper Iddra, and to my surprise she claimed to be Elsie's sister.

 

Following that hiccup, Iddra donned Ion's dress, followed me outside, did the little cutscene with Elsie and was added to my party as a follower. Ion however continued to ignore me, leaving the inn without its keeper and Elsie without her true sister.

Ok, that's funny. It MAY happen if you click through the dialogue too fast as there are little scriptlets that run to see who you're talking to. I've never had this happen, but I HAVE had it happen that Ion doesn't get tagged for the dialogue because I clicked through the dialogue too fast. (I've run through it probably 50 times by now)

So, i've gotten to Kynesgrove, got them to meet outside and after the "Does this mean you're joining us" dialogue nothing happens am i meant to have a multiple follower mod?

Yes, I use Nether's Follower Framework. Without a multiple follower framework she's not going to follow.

I'm having an issue with Ion not appearing in the game. The mod is active, the esp is active, the game says "ion is in the world!", but there's no Ion in the Braidwood Inn and when I use to console to "player.movetome XXXXXXXX" the script fires but she's still not there. I've tried every version of Ion, including converting the old rim to se myself and she still doesn't appear. I've tried everything I could think of, and can't get her to appear. Elsie is working fine.

Use placeatme with base ID to spawn a duplicte.

Just to check, if she is visible.

If not, skeleton or skin problem.
