I was thinking maybe the various vampire races had got overwriting, head textures get applied there but if you have serana messed up she uses nord race, very stumped on this one. It really is a puzzle. Yes, every single vampire is affected, except for the PC (I've been using Alternate Start's vampire start to test possible fixes for this, and the PC always looks fine). I'm using this mod to overhaul Serana's appearance. I've been using it for ages and never had an issue with it. Here's a screenshot from SSEEdit. This is the Breton vampire race, but it looks the same for every vampire race. Spoiler I'm not sure what any of this means, but maybe I should try disabling Sexlab Survival and see if that helps. x.x
Heroine HoneyCrotch Posted November 9, 2019 Posted November 9, 2019 the mod you use for serana has her race changed to nordvampire, might be deal maker. load all mods into xedit and click on skyrim.esm and go to races and see if anything is overwriting you various vampire races.

The problem was Sexlab Survival. Spoiler I don't know how or why. That mod shouldn't even be touching the vampire races. The only interaction it has with vampires is... I don't even know if it does anything to vampires! I'd better get over there and tell the mod author / SE version maintainer that something is fucky in SLS. x.x Edit: I ought to say, thank you everyone who took an interest in this problem. It might seem like basic troubleshooting, but I would never have thought to use SSEEdit to find the cause without the help of the community here! ❤️

I'm not sure what you mean by that. ? For now, I'm going to try to reinstall a freshly downloaded version of SLS. This is such a random issue that I think I may have accidentally done something to the .esp for it, so a new copy might be all I need. Edit: A freshly installed version of SLS did not fix it. I guess it isn't an error on my end. ^^;

I guess it isn't an error on my end. ^^; the problem is in Survival, and that's only if you have Dawnguard installed. dawnguard is active and is looking for stuff that has been reverted back to vanilla, definitely not on your end
