Weird CTD issue

Hello everyone,

 

Posting this issue here cause really I am lost in what to do to find the reason for this weird CTD ..

 

First let me describe the CTD issue...

 

I had a game  that I was following the main quest  and had no problems or CTD of any reason, Then it came the first one, Was in the part ( sorry do not remember the quest name ) that you talk to Gen Tulius and The Stormcloak leader to make a meeting in Highhogart to arrange a moment of peace to capture a Dragon in whiterun , so I went to this meeting after talking to both parts and made the reunion and agreement so now I had to go to Whiterun call the Dragon and manage to get him prisoner inside Dragonsreach.. all good until I left High Hogarth door to the exterior  and just seconds in exterior the game CTD, first time I thought , OK maybe its ocasional , so loaded again on my save just before leaving the HH door and again after getting outside the game CTD... Its weird since I had no new Mods installed apart from textures to improve this or that ...Runned a number of trial and error testings by disabling some mods  but no go the game repeatedly CTD on the same place after getting out side , tried to fast travel to another spot as soon as I was outside the door but the same result CTD after a few minutes after teleporting to another place in the map... Loaded a previous save before HH reunion for the peace council and no CTD , repeated that and repeated the Peace Council and again CTD after leaving HH door to exterior .. so Made another attempt...

 

...Started a new game and downloaded a save that add the Main quest finished, went to withrun and started the companions quest to become a werewolf m everything good until the underforge part that I have to meet AELA and by drinking from the fountain her blood  and the respective loading screen that places my character outside transformed into a werewolf for the first time  and again few seconds outside and the weird CTD happened ...Since I use DYNDOLOD I downloaded the latest version followed instructions and installed the required files for this new version and remade the Dyndolod from scratch thinking that maybe add problems with textures   cause of that .. nothing the same thing werewolf transformed outside the underforge and CTD after few seconds...

 

 

 

I am adding my load order if someone know what can be causing this ..cause I am out of ideas ..

 

Help would be very welcomed here guys ..

Did you try exiting High Hrothgar through a different door, such as the one that leads to the courtyard?

Does your game make both male and female werewolves and which are you?

Hey thanks for the reply first...

 

Then as for the question matey , yes I tried every door and the CTD happened in the courtyard and the front door  in every door it CTD..

 

Also the same its happening with the Underforge now in the New game , so I guess I have either some kind of conflict related to quest of any type or I have maybe a conflict with that and open world cells..  

 

I am confused really cause the game worked fine until that ..in both saves ..

 

As for the second question My character is Female but using SOS unp for females and in Sex lab taged as Male  And didn't saw yet no female werewolf ..so far

CTD in the same location is usually a corrupted mesh. I asked about the doors in hope that was the case at HH. It could still be.

 

And since that is the case your second case sounds like it could be a problem with the mesh for werewolf schlongs (animal schlongs are commonly an issue). So, if Aela appears as a female werewolf (and doesn't have a schlong) in the Underforge and you have no issue and then your character becomes a "male" werewolf that is likely to be your issue also. And that goes back to HH if you are having problem with another animal that is supposed to randomly show up when you exit HH.

Can be .. but then it only could be related to either Aroused Creatures or  Creature framework ??? will check those .. Maybe reinstalling both of them can fix the issue..

Hey sorry also remembered that add Moonlight tales for se it can be causing issues can't it ??? since it adds Skins , thought I disabled those skins they can be causing CTD..

Common causes for what I've described tend to be mods that impact animal bodies like More Nasty Critters and Horny Creatures of Skyrim.

Well I uninstalled all Creature Sexlab related mods  and will check the quest again..let's see if that was the problem..

I'm not telling you to live without them. I have them in my game now and have no issues. Rather, go back and reinstall carefully following the instructions that MadMansGun has laid out for their use on the MNC modpage.

LOL.. I understand .. but I prefer enjoying the game the way it is now stable and no CTD then risk it everything again and get to do everything from scratch..

Cause I am sure that what happened was a install order issue ..

Cause I am sure that what happened was a install order issue ..

Install order is not as big an issue as you might think. Load order is since it determines what overwrites what. As I said, MadMansGun has very explicit instructions on adding the creature mods on the MNC modpage. It is the guide that I used (after I had fouled up on my own and then went back and read the directions) and I haven't had a problem since (with the creatures anyway).
