I have two questions.

Hello,

I have a question. My skyrim installation with the modes works well, except for a few crashes but nothing serious but I have a problem to which I couldn't find an answer.

With my installation I have the animation of the bodies in XP32 Maximum skelleton. But sometimes, when I download followers their bodies are not animated as if it was not taken into account by this physics.

I would have liked to know if I could make them animated in the same way as the other bodies?

I have another question, I would have liked to know if there was a mod to take control of an NPC to modify its appearance with showracemenu.

I hope I wasn't too confused, I wish you a good day.

Answer 1) Your NPC probably does NOT have XPMSE but a custom skeleton. In that case the animations will not work. Changing the skeleton would be a tricky piece of work.

Answer 2) No. Although you are not the only person who would want such a mod.

This is probably a dirty way to get around what you are talking about, but this is what I do when I come across a follower I wanted but had a custom skeleton.  First your follower must be the same as you or the PC. CBBE-CBBE or UUNB-UUNB.  I simply copy my body files, hands, feet, body, head, and skeleton and install them so they overwrite the followers.  Now take a mod called the Manipulator and it does give you some options from racemenu. Not all but you can use body morphs and some other things.  Just put the follower in your crosshairs and go into the MCM and there is a racemenu check box and it will take your follower into racemenu. I had to to this for the follower Mink, and a couple other that didn't come from Nexus or here.

Hello, thank you for your answers, it's all immediately clearer like that.

To manipulate I already have these options with the system advance companions and the improved root menu.

I have another question, if I want to modify or create an NPC so that it keeps its skeleton animated by XP32 I must load Skyrim+uptade+XPMSE I have good?

If I understand your question/statement then the answer is yes. Depending on your mod manager it is a good idea to keep the XPMSE skeleton near the end of your load order (LOOT will usually put it there if you use it).

Thank you and otherwise I only use normal skyrim mode, I had tried the special editing but it seems impossible since the slightest variation gives "corrupted backup" when you load a backup with missing modes, which never happens in the first version.

I would have liked to know if there was anything to correct this since I saw that people were using it too.

Special Edition is another version of the Skyrim game and the mods are entirely different (for the most part). If you want to use SE that's fine just buy the game through Steam and get all the tools to support it and you'll be fine. But, DO NOT mix SE mods in your Skyrim LE game. It will only cause problems.

Thank you, I already have the special edition but as soon as I set some mode and remove it I lose all the backups so I don't touch it anymore.

Otherwise I can't get rid of this bug, any idea?

the color of the feet does not match the color of the body  It just does it for men.

Are you using some sort of body replacer for you NPCs. It looks like the either there is a mismatch between the meshes for the body and feet or a problem with the feet textures. Fortunately, as far as I am aware, there is no "dark feet bug".

Exactly, I didn't find it, I followed the tutorial found on this forum.

edit :

So I figured it out, that's what you said. Thank you.
