queertactics Posted November 2, 2019 Posted November 2, 2019 Hello! I've been trying to organize my folders of mods and custom content and I was wondering -- I know there are some things that can't be more than one folder deep, but could anyone explain that further? Like, can I have a folder just for animations, in my mods folder, or would that stop them from showing up? If I put sex toys in their own folder, will that stop them from showing up in animations that use them? What about sliders, like those for nose width, space between nipples, etc.? Since most things are package files, it's hard to tell what can be put in a folder and what can't! Thanks!

Script files are the only ones like this. Regular .TS4Package files can be up to three or four deep, but I'd stop at three. You can and should have a folder just for animations. You can categorize your folders however. I would probably put sliders in a sub-folder of my "CAS" themed folder or whatever folder you use for customization like that. For example: Mods (standard TS4 mod folder) -CAS (1 folder) ---Sliders (2 folders) Did this help?

What RUAsim21 says....good idea to have folders for stuff...I have separate folders for hair...skins....make up.....skirts...dresses etc....oh and animations.

RUASim21 Posted November 8, 2019 Posted November 8, 2019 @queertactics Glad it helped! If you notice that you are downloading certain items from a creator in particular you can also give them either a subfolder or what I do within my Mods folder is _CreatorName and just make that their own folder. So for shoes I love Madlen/MJ95 for example. Mods _Madlen (I keep just those shoes from this creator in this folder)
