I don't really mind if a sim washes their hands after peeing or goes to bed if they're dead tired but any time a sim talks to another sim they are likely to come up with their own topics to talk about, and that can be more bad than good if that topic happens to be romantic. My sim just flirted with her sister while I just trying to get them better acquainted. Well, they are definitely "better acquainted" now... They can't just say something and stop after, they will always carry on without my approval, and I have Autonomy turned Off and Turn Off Autonomy For Selected Sim checked. I don't have mods that alter what a sim is likely to say or how often they are likely to talk, except WW, but that also has Autonomy turned off and they don't try to f***, so it's working as intended. (I learned that lesson right after the sisters flirted.......) Is there a mod that puts a complete stop to anything they might try to queue up to say before they say it? This game has never been good with actually preventing autonomy regardless of the Gameplay options. In this situation I am talking about household autonomy. No NPC is involved.
chorin Posted November 3, 2019 Posted November 3, 2019 The closest thing I can think of is Have Some Personality Please! It doesn't restrict autonomy but it has an add-on to restrict romance interactions. It also stops generic idle chat so more context-specific interactions are used by default.
Scorpio Posted November 5, 2019 Posted November 5, 2019 I use a mod called SCAM by Scumumbo or something. It's an autonomy disabler that covers all the annoying things that sims do. You just click on the ground, select enable, then select currently running. You have to do this every time, AFTER your sim/s do something stupid and search through the list and click on it to stop it. Don't forget to save after setting things. You can re-enable them pretty much the same way or use the other menu: restore autonomy

I know... but I just found SCAM to be easier for me to figure out how to use, lol. (Way back, when I started playing TS4 and adding mods, MCCC didn't have that feature)

I only started playing TS4 this summer. I never really could get the hang of through MCCC, so maybe SCAM is easier to deal with.

I just hope I don't need to disable each and every dialogue option. The goal is to make it so they don't say anything on their own, which could be a maddening process if I have to choose to disable every dialogue individually...
