Creating categories in Mod Organizer 2

I am trying to organize the left pane of MO2, without actually affecting load order or anything.. (so purely aesthetics).

 

I seem to be missing a step though.

 

What I have been doing:

1) create Seperator

2) drag corresponding mods under their seperator.

 

The problem(i think)

When doing so, it changes my load order.


so how do I achieve both goals:

Organized left pane

not affect load order?

I dont think you can do that with separators. I use separators myself and i had to choose the priority order to each one.

So it seems, I might not be able to use Seperators, but instead just edit categories..  

 

Or, does locking load order on the right panel do it?

Changing order on left panel shouldn't affect order on right panel and vice versa.

 

You could sort the list by categories, or even better use the drop down menu under left panel to group the list by categories and sort it by name. Priority should stay the same this way. You'll probably have to define category for every mod that doesn't have one by default though..

 

edit:// I should've added that you can customize categories (even make your own) in Settings.
