ZREa Posted November 14, 2025 Posted November 14, 2025 Hi, I've tested the gust tools out and gust tools version 1.58 is working great for all 3 Ryza DX games. No issues playing the game with the extracted files either even modding in the change room with no crash. However, there's one thing that's become an issue with the DX version. Depending on the mods if they do not have a model elixir.gz with it the mod will load but it will look strange. The saving grace is it is possible to use another mod's model elixir.gz file and it may load it as normal. I just do not know if it may crash anytime after that. For the first game, Atelier Ryza 1 it seems to be not as strict so luckily I was able to find a model elixir.gz for the Ryza gyaru mod though I would prefer the original. If somebody happens to have it please add it as an attachment. I will put up the gyaru in question, source might be from this person, LunaLenaVR but I am uncertain as the link to the mod no longer works. Once more the pc00a_model.elixir.gz and pc00e_model.elixir.gz are not the original. It only came with .g1t files as many of the mods are in. This is being shared in the hopes of the original .gz files for this mod. If any of the creators of mod still come on this thread please share the .gz of your mod in case it may no longer work in the DX version. Unless there's some method I am unaware of. I will post this in the other Ryza threads with some alterations. Gyaru (black) (Ryza 1).7z 3

ZREa Posted November 16, 2025 Posted November 16, 2025 @last_quazar Have you tried modding in Ryza 2 and 3 yet? I was curious if you have any information to add or elixirs you been able to fix some mods with using alternatives?
hellintetion Posted November 17, 2025 Posted November 17, 2025 All these mods don't work on Ryza 1 DX, previously I played on the switch version!? 1
Joe Average Posted November 17, 2025 Posted November 17, 2025 I have been play Ryza 1 DX on PC with the Ryza and Lila mods in this old nexusmods post https://www.nexusmods.com/atelierryza1/mods/3. For Klaudia I am using something on these forums. All 3 have a model and texture file. Based on a previous post it sounds like old character mots that just change the texture file no longer work as intented because the model file has been changed relative to 6 years ago. The only thing that looks broken/glitchy for me is very specific motions Ryza does in cutscenes make a steam on the forearm breifly visible and every time that I leave a cutscene, Ryza's arm does something a bit odd. I am also using an old mods for Alchemy UI and Character Stand Card.
ZREa Posted November 20, 2025 Posted November 20, 2025 @hellintetion Look at my post at the very top of this page's thread here. I've already disclosed why it isn't working and how to resolve some of them. I only do outfit modding nothing heavy such as environments and things like that. @Joe Average Some mods still work such as the black Ryza gyaru I put up in the first post of this page thread. You'll have to take precautions one by one when using mods for now as there hasn't been any creator of any mod that has given any information or updated their mod to include the elixir.gz file.
Geefbeef_NT Posted November 22, 2025 Posted November 22, 2025 (edited) Hello everyone! Since I was asked about it, here is the port of my "Bunny Girl" mod for the DX version of "Atelier Ryza 1". Atelier Ryza 1 Costume Mod - Charming Bunny DX (for 3DMigoto) Attention: This mod was created with the "Female roster skins - 3dMigoto enabler" of 3Dmigoto (easy to find with a Search Engine of your choice). The installation of this version (more precisely the corresponding ini file) is mandatory for the correct execution of this mod. Other versions may cause glitches or crashes. How to Install & Use Install 3DMigoto. Copy the contents of the zip folder to the "Mods" folder in the game's installation directory. Start the game. Confirm the UAC message that pops up at startup with "YES". Once the game screen appears, press "F10". If a green message appears in the top left corner, everything is OK. Note: Since the graphics engine and the game's startup process were slightly modified for the DX version, the 3DM startup process is a little different from the original version. The game may crash on startup if "F10" is not pressed, as 3DM cannot load the necessary profile into memory quickly enough. This mod is identical to the version I made for the original release of the game. The only difference is that the hash values used to exchange model parts at runtime have changed. Since this is (still) a port, minor inaccuracies such as missing physics effects, clipping, and small errors in the textures are normal - the adapted graphics engine of the DX version also results in slightly different colors than in the original, and due to the not optimal ingame-AA, there may be a slight shimmering at the edges of the models. Ryza_CharmingBunnyDX_v3.zip ### Changelog ### v1 >>> Initial Release v2 >>> Bugfixes v3 >>> Bugfixes (corrected hashes) #### #### #### #### #### #### #### Atelier Ryza 1 Costume Mod - Charming Bunny DX (File Version - Experimental) As announced, here is the file version of the mod that does not require 3DM. Ryza1_CharmingBunnyDX_FileVersion_v1.zip For starters, this is an experimental release, as it was the first time I converted a 3DM mod to a "real" file that works natively with the game files without the tool. Geefbeef_NT Posted November 22, 2025 Posted November 22, 2025 (edited) And since we're already at it, here's a little fix that some of you are surely waiting for: Atelier Ryza 1 Costume Mod - White Lily of Summer Texture Fix DX (for 3DMigoto) - !!! NOT LONGER NECESSARY !!! IMPORTANT NOTE: The incorrect texture HAS BEEN FIXED by the developers with a small patch, meaning this fix is NO LONGER NECESSARY. However, I'm leaving it here along with the download link as an example/resource. Attention: This mod was created with the "Female roster skins - 3dMigoto enabler" of 3Dmigoto (easy to find with a Search Engine of your choice). Note: Most of you will probably have noticed that Ryza's "White Lily of Summer" costume suddenly has a metallic sheen, unlike in the original version. This is because the DX version apparently uses the wrong texture - it applies the metallic sheen to the entire costume, instead of just to individual small parts as before. The chosen texture in question was most likely a mistake – if the same one as in the original game had been used, the error wouldn't exist. This mod does exactly that. Ryza1_WhiteLily_TextureFix_v1.zip This mod will of course no longer be necessary if the bug is fixed in a future patch. Until then, here is an alternative. #### #### #### #### #### #### #### And here is the "normal file" version of the fix - it does not require 3DM, but only the extracted resources in the data folder. Simply overwrite the .g1t texture package with the one in the zip file (don't forget to make a backup of the original file). Ryza1_WhiteLily_TextureFix_FileVersion_v1.zip I didn't have much time when creating this, so it's quite possible that I made a mistake - in that case, I will try to correct it if necessary after receiving appropriate feedback. Geefbeef_NT Posted November 23, 2025 Posted November 23, 2025 Here's a small update regarding the texture problem mentioned above - I took a closer look at the whole thing and noticed something else: One of the texture types used, more precisely the one responsible for the strange metallic look of the "White Lily" costume, also has an impact on the other appearances of the characters. Here are two comparison screenshots to show what I mean: It's probably a little hard to see, but with the original textures used, the characters, in this example Ryza, have some strange-looking reflections in certain places (depending on the ambient light, so it is more or less clearly visible in certain environments). In Ryza's standard costume, this is particularly noticeable on the belt, the right glove, and her boots - the belt, including the ornaments, is extremely bright, and the gloves and boots, although actually made of leather, have a metallic sheen. Furthermore, the metallic sheen partially distorts the colors – clearly visible on the hem of the vest and the belt buckle. Both are actually gold in color, but appear silver due to the texture. Furthermore, there are strange-looking shadows - clearly visible on the bag on her left leg and the boots - and the models have a white-edged shimmer both from a distance and up close. In the screenshots, the original texture is on the left and the neutralized, i.e., manually adjusted, one is on the right. The difference is significant in my opinion: the colors are much closer to the original values, there are no strange shadows, and some details are much clearer and less blurred. The other characters are also affected by this – Lent has been hit particularly hard in my opinion. Since he has by far the most metal ornaments and armor pieces on his body of any character in the party, it's extremely noticeable on him (see left). I also checked the original game again - it was the same there, it's just strange that I didn't notice it back then... oh well. But I'm exaggerating probably - in any case, the effect can easily be neutralized by adjusting the respective texture. 1
kathjie Posted November 25, 2025 Posted November 25, 2025 hello~ so, i've been interested into playing Atelier Ryza for a while and saw they released the DX version, BUT i'm one of those freakos in love with gyaru aesthetic, i've been looking around the thread and the talks of the gyaru mod, but i'm a bit confused to say the least about 1) it does really works on the three DX games. 2) process of installation of the mods 3) what are the proper mods for gyaru ryza. 4) are there nude/seminude/R18 gyaru mods if some humble sould can throw me some light, i would be really grateful. Thanks y'all in advance!

Like others have said, gust tools v1.58 works fine to unpack files. What I did was unpack the DX version's .g1t, then I moved my old unpacked modded .g1t textures straight into the DX versions folder. I only copied over 000.dds and 001.dds, but be careful if you need to move more as there was one new .dds file (011.dds in my case). If you do need to move all the files, you will need to compare them and rename as needed as this new file is likely the culprit behind old mods having missing pieces. I use Nvidia Texture Tool in Photoshop so your settings may vary. For me, the main textures (000.dds) are saved as BC7, and normals (001.dds) are saved as BC1a. Geefbeef_NT Posted November 29, 2025 Posted November 29, 2025 Hello. Which 3dmigoto version are you using? I tried one I found on github but the game just automatically closes after I install it. Let me quote myself: Attention: This mod was created with the "Female roster skins - 3dMigoto enabler" of 3Dmigoto (easy to find with a Search Engine of your choice). The installation of this version (more precisely the corresponding ini file) is mandatory for the correct execution of this mod. Other versions may cause glitches or crashes. The basic version of 3DM from GitHub alone is by no means sufficient, not because it is the wrong one, but because certain code adjustments in the ini file and additional files are missing that are necessary for mods for games by Koei Tecmo / Gust. The one you need is called "Female roster skins - 3dMigoto enabler" and it was originally intended for "Warriors Orochi 4", but also works with the "Atelier" series, provided the games run with DX11, as 3DM only supports this DirectX version. When I downloaded it back then, it was available in several different places - today you can probably find it fastest in the game section of "Warriors Orochi 4" on Nexusmods. 2
ZREa Posted December 5, 2025 Posted December 5, 2025 @Geefbeef_NT Thanks for the information. I couldn't tell at all with those comparisons. I do know the saturation in the DX has been increased compared to the original version. I was curious if I should upload the original Ryza 1, 2 and 3 elixir.gz files for users to download on mods that are have the metalic look because of the absences of an elixir.gz file. Some mods didn't need the original Ryza 1 game files and worked just fine with the DX version. However, I don't know if they may crash if they have additional files in the .g1t as you found out. I think I will wait for the simple .g1t files to try your mods out. I'm interested in the White Lily. @kathjie 1) & 2) * Download the gust tools and extract it. * Read the posts I made to find the discussion on the gyaru's and downloading it. On Ryza 1, go to the very top of this page thread. * For Ryza 2 and Ryza 3, go to the last page of each of those threads to find my posts. * Grab and drop this file, Atelier Ryza DX\Data\PACK00_02.PAK to gust tools\gust_pak.exe file, a command prompt window will show up, allow it to finish extracting files. * It will create a new folder, data\x64\character * grab that folder and go to the root game folder and overwrite it to the data folder * Rename PACK00_02.PAK to PACK00_02 ORIGINAL.PAK or delete if you have a backup or move it, the game can still function without it as it will read those new extracted files instead. * You can now play around with modding. Best to go to the change room for that. The character folder is where you want to be for outfit mods. 3) The gyaru mods did not come with a elixir.gz file. In the original Ryza release this was fine as it worked as intended. In DX however, many of the mods look strange now as you can see if you scroll up and read hellintetion post above. As a temporary or possibly permanent solution is to use the elixir.gz file from the original Ryza 1 game files unless the creator of the mod could supply the upgraded exlir.gz to the DX version. That and what Geefbeef_NT posted for additional information. 4) You will have to go through all the posts if you want the nude models.

I think I will wait for the simple .g1t files to try your mods out. I'm interested in the White Lily. Thank you for the feedback. I've given the topic some more thought over the last few days and I'm still not entirely sure what the best approach is. Providing the original files from the non-DX version would be pointless – the textures, and therefore the somewhat strange reflections, are absolutely identical in both versions. They are simply made slightly more noticeable in the DX version due to the lighting changes. The only truly "broken" costume at the moment, in my opinion, is the "White Lily" one – I certainly don't think the metallic look was intentional (and if it was, it was a pretty strange choice). To counteract this, one would have to replace the corresponding texture and make it available as a new .g1t-file - my attempt via 3DM was actually only a proof-of-concept in this context, firstly to see if it works at all (and whether my assumptions were correct) and secondly to be able to see more quickly how the model would then look in the game. Which brings me to my second point - I don't think that using the exact same mod files (i.e., those made for the "old" version) without any modifications is the best approach. From everything I've seen so far, the textures are absolutely identical in terms of resolution, colors, dimensions, and other parameters. What could not be the same, however, is the .g1t file. I would try the following: Take the modded .g1t file for the old version and extract the texture from it. Take the same file for the DX version and extract its texture as well. Then compare the two textures to see if, for example, the ID-numbers and resolution is identical, etc. Make the necessary changes. Then import the texture of the old mod into the new .g1t file and try it out in the game. I suspect that in the case of mods that only modify the textures, a probable change in the structure of the .g1t file in the DX version might be the reason for the problems mentioned. This would also be supported by the point that the errors seem to disappear when the model from the old game version is also included - since both files were made for the same game version (i.e., the old one), they are compatible and the DX version can also handle them, but mixing them (i.e., new model from the DX version with old texture from the original version) probably leads to the problems mentioned. With completely new costume mods, you always have to supply the model and texture together anyway, so these problems shouldn't really occur here. But please take my explanations here with a grain of salt - I am by no means an expert in this field and am only relaying what I have noticed so far. #### #### #### #### #### #### #### @ZREa I have created a "normal" version of the fix, meaning it doesn't require a 3DM installation and only needs to be copied into the files encoded with Gust tools. See my post above for the download. I would be happy if one of you could test this and give me feedback on whether it works - I was under a bit of time pressure when creating it. One more small note for anyone who wants to edit the textures themselves and uses Paint.net: The textures of the DX version have the "BC7 (sRGB, DX 11+)" format for 003.dds and similar textures and the "BC1 (sRGB, DX 10+)" format for all other textures - for the fix only the 003.dds had to be modified. Afezeria already mentioned the formats for Photoshop users in their post above, but I thought I'd add the format descriptions of the tool I use to avoid confusion. I will post this in the other Ryza threads with some alterations. Gyaru (black) (Ryza 1).7z 6.8 MB · 18 downloads Hi @ZREa, I just had a little time and opportunity to take a closer look at this topic - I hope that's okay with you. The most important thing first: It seems that no additional "model.elixir.gz" file is necessary if no other adjustments have been made to the model apart from the textures. I took the first mod from your "Gyaru" pack and compared the texture set with that of the original model from the DX version (see screenshot in the spoiler; mod first and original second). Spoiler It's easy to see: The texture numbers and their order are identical up to a certain number - however, the DX version has one additional texture with "011.dds", thus increasing the total number of textures by one. This is probably also the reason why certain models look strange when installing mods for the "old" version, because as soon as additional textures are added to the game (or their positions are changed), the assignments no longer match and this will "break" the models. How can this be solved? Well, as a test, I only took the modded textures and copied them into the corresponding textures of the DX version (of course, taking the correct texture formats into account). After import, the model looks like this in the game: Looks pretty good to me - and that's without having to use an additional "model.elixir.gz" from the original game. I only corrected the textures and nothing else. Attached is the texture file I created to try out yourself (I hope I got the right one). pc00a_model.zip From this, the following conclusion can be drawn: If the model looks strange in the DX version when installing an "old" mod, you should first look at the textures and correct them accordingly. Including the old "model.elixir.gz" file saves you this step of course, because the assigned textures are guaranteed to fit the model (granted the original modder did everything right). However, if the file is not available because the modder did not include one, then correcting the textures should not necessitate a "model.elixir.gz" file. The situation is different if the "model.elixir.gz" itself has been modified, meaning more adjustments than just the textures have been made, but the problem shouldn't occur there, since the modder must have supplied the model and textures in that case (and they will then match, provided the mod was already working correctly in the original game). @Afezeria was absolutely right in the post above (I'm simply confirming what's already been written there - thanks for pointing that out and of course the full credits are going to you): As long as you have access to the textures of the "old" mods, every existing mod which only adjusts the textures should be able to be "upgraded" to the DX version. And that also means: No input and no "old" files from the original creators are necessary - with the existing tools (the "Gust Tools" and an image editing program such as Photoshop, GIMP or Paint.Net) you can do it yourself. In my opinion, it's worth a try - I just hope I'm not wrong about this in the end ;). Edited December 6, 2025 by Geefbeef_NT 3

I will also show the nvidia settings default as after I press "save as" and name the file and switch to use the .dds extension it gives me the option to save alpha channels, so I click it to do so, then it switches to the nvidia settings. I have to manually input to use only 3 mipmaps as that is what I see the .dds using when I open it to show the mipmaps, not sure if I have to mess with the other settings in nvidia. Maybe @Afezeria can help on this if possible. Let me know if I am suppose to change settings here or something to remove the belts and items on her legs. Another thing I noticed is the the files when hovering over them display that it has zero Bits. But when I do the conversion it adds 1 Bit and I can't figure out why that is happening. I took a screenshot of the folder with the hover thing displaying the 1 bit below.

I took a screenshot of the folder with the hover thing displaying the 1 bit below. Hi, unfortunately, I can't say anything about texture editing with the Nvidia tool or Photoshop because I don't use them myself - I usually use Paint.net for that sort of thing. Paint.net is more than sufficient for this kind of modding attempts - apart from choosing the correct file type and texture format, you don't need to bother with other settings such as mipmaps, the default settings are perfectly sufficient and you don´t need additional plugins and such. I usually advise modding beginners to use it, because the other tools have tons of settings that can easily ruin your work by choosing the wrong option or lead to confusion if you are not 100 percent sure what you are doing. However, I can help you with your other question above: The belt and the other items suddenly appear because the texture was saved WITHOUT an alpha channel OR you accidentally have added color to areas that are meant to be transparent. In the first case, all areas of the texture that would be transparent will be replaced with black. And black (or any other color that isn´t full transparency) is what the game renders, which is why the hidden parts of the model suddenly reappear. The original modder used a trick to make the belt and leg pocket disappear: They made the corresponding areas of the texture for these specific model parts transparent – the game engine interprets these transparent parts as “non-existent” and does not display them ingame. Of course, you could also delete the model components yourself in Blender, but this method is a bit faster. Either a setting in your image editing program is incorrect, or the wrong texture format was selected or you made a mistake when copying the old texture inside the new one. Don't worry, though, if you accidentally choose the wrong format – the "gust_g1t.exe" from "Gust Tools" will throw an error message on import and won't even save the texture. That obviously didn't happen here, so the texture is probably incorrect. As I said, the alpha channel is missing and/or there are colors where none should be. Here's a side-by-side comparison: My texture is on the left and yours is on the right - in mine the correct areas are transparent, in yours there is black and white color instead of transparency. ZREa Posted December 8, 2025 Posted December 8, 2025 @Geefbeef_NT Success! Thanks to your reply I was able to understand where I was wrong at. When I opened it in photoshop a prompt opens up and gives me several choices to open with. One of them was to open it as alpha channels but I couldn't read the text well as it had more text to it so I kept choosing this option thus making it look above as you showed. Once I read your new comment I was thinking why isn't there a transparent choice, so I read the prompt like I said before I couldn't read the text well so I moved the prompt down some where I can read it properly and the choice I was reading said to open it as alpha channel and NOT transparent. So this time I unselected it and bam! Image turned Transparent. Did the rest and the belt and items on her legs were gone just as you have it as well as solving the 1 Bit thing. However, I have another gyaru that I ran into problems. When attempting to extract the .g1t file the gust tool gust_g1t.exe prompt window tells me this: pc00e_model.g1t'... ERROR: File size mismatch Press any key to continue... Have you guys ever seen this? I don't know how to get around this. What's weird is the mod still works in-game with no problems it seems. Here's the file I included the old elixir from the original Ryza 1 game to make it viewable and usable. pc00e (gyaru black).7z This is the one I really want to extract.
Geefbeef_NT Posted December 8, 2025 Posted December 8, 2025 @ZREa I´m glad it worked. I have encountered your "File size mismatch" error before in another context. As far as I know, there are several reasons for this: The .g1t file is so new that the respective program cannot decrypt it and the unpacking tool must first be updated. The original modder made additional modifications to the file (e.g., edited certain values in a hex editor), so the tool can no longer process the file. The file was corrupted during the saving process and although it is still readable by the game, the tool can no longer do anything with it. Since the mod is likely older, I would rule out the first case. In the second case, it might still be possible to salvage something by looking at a working file and resetting the parameter using a hex editor. Not exactly easy. In the latter case, unfortunately, nothing more can be done. As an absolute last resort, there is one method that should almost always work, provided the game can still read the file, but unfortunately it is somewhat complicated: 3DMigoto can extract and save models and textures directly from memory while the game is running. This allows direct access to the texture without having to extract it from the files. Since I occasionally use 3DM to test new mods, and you posted the mod in question in your last post, I could check if I can get hold of the corresponding textures. It will take some time, though.

I posted a script to fix the file size mismatch error here. BTW if you are not actually changing the texture, there is no reason to open and re-save in a new format. Just change the format flag in the g1t.json file so that it matches the texture, 0x59 for BC1, 0x5B for BC3, 0x5F for BC7, etc. If you are unsure, when unpacking the mod, edit its g1t.json file to see the correct flag, then when copying the files into the unpacked new default g1t, change the flag to match in the new g1t.json file.
ZREa Posted December 8, 2025 Posted December 8, 2025 (edited) @Geefbeef_NT Thanks Geefbeef NT but you don't need to go that far. I found another mod with that error thing. From this post, a Nuresuke mod. I wanted to try and see if I can do a wet gyaru version of pc00a file. @amorrow28 You wrote to double-click but double-click on what? The script? The script and mod file are in the same folder but nothing. Am I suppose to have python installed too? EDIT: Nevermind you meant to run it in 3Dmigoto. I would prefer to convert it to the DX file then try to correct matches through .json. I'll keep it in mind if there's something that I can't figure out. Edited December 8, 2025 by ZREa forgot pic 1

Anyway... here are the textures for the "Black Gyaru" mod you mentioned. Luckily, I already had them lying around in another folder, so I didn't have to export anything from the game. pc00e Black Gyaru Raw Textures.zip Edited December 8, 2025 by Geefbeef_NT
