Where to start with adult games?

Hello, I am a total newbie in the adult game market. What adult games could you recommend me to try first? The more lesbian content the better, same for bdsm. Thanks!

Depends on what you're looking for really ...

 

If you'd like to add nudity, penises, sex, stripping, bondage, drugs, player character prostitution to games, I'd suggest you mod one of the RPGs this site has many mods for (Skyrim, Fallout series.) There's detailed "how to mod" instructions. It'll take you a few hours to get things set up usually, but Skyrim has excellent mods focused on BDSM stuff. 

 

 

Nudity, stripping, drugs, prostitution and sex are also possible in Sims games. I personally much prefer Sims 3 with Onikikay's KinkyMod to Sims 4 with WickedWoohoo, I guess because Sims 4 is the worse game of the two in many ways. 

 

If you're looking for a Hentai brothel simulator, I'd recommend

For a "Life Sim" where you suddenly turn into a girl in Russia, try Girl Life. Huge game, active developers, friendly forum. Text-based with menus and images and short movies. Similar to that one but in 3d: LifePlay. You can edit any character, so lesbian and I think some BDSM is possible. Your character won't get forced into anything though, you'll have to add BDSM equipment and select a position yourself.

I can't find one page I was looking for, it showed how surprisingly many of Patreon's top-grossing pages have porn content... but apparently Patreon has started moving against porn creators. Googling "Patreon sex game" and similar searches may still lead to interesting projects.

Overall I guess I had most fun playing whores in Skyrim and Sims 3. Fallout New Vegas was harder to mod, didn't look as good, and weird things kept happening, like a mod's characters falling through the floor and disappearing forever, so that mod quest was stuck. I hated Fallout 4 for some reason (probably the main story?) and also had technical issues after installing two sexmod frameworks, one of which was apparently outdated.

If you do decide to go modding Skyrim or similar, be prepared for some frustrating research - like, last time I tried, the how-to-mod instructions couldn't even decide on which mod manager causes the least amount of problems. When I tried the one made by Nexus,I found it was deprecated and replaced with something new *sigh*

There is Wildlife on patreon, its a rare 3d adult game where you can be a male and get it on with other males...or a female and get it on with other females. 99% of adult porn games are male on female only, rarely male on male and even more rare female on female. It gets over 60k a month in patreon funding, so you know its going to be a healthy game. I'm not aware of any other game where you can get both male on male and female on female content that is also 3d. I know there must be some out there, but its incredibly rare and outside of the next game I list, can't think of any others.

 

There is also breeders of Nephlym, but its mostly focused on futa or male on female or female on male content. There is no male on male content and almost no female on female content (a tiny bit). Its on steam. I don't play it though because I don't play sex games without male on male AND female on female. Sadly this means almost all sex games are not playable.

 

Here on this very forum that someone already linked to is Lifeplay. It offers male on male, female on female content. Its 3d I guess, but to me it isn't really a 3d game. You can't walk around in the world, only characters are 3d. But its still a great game. It gets a lot of support, a lot of updates and is a really good game. I would personally consider it hybrid 2d/3d...2d gameplay, 3d characters. But its amazing.

 

Out of the adult modded games. I do NOT recommend Elder Scrolls or Fallout, with the exception that when modded make amazing adult games. The problem is, the engine is held on by duct tape and adding adult mods makes the games VERY unstable and unplayable with content added mods...even just by themselves makes it unstable as it is. The other and more bigger issue, to mod bethesda games makes me personally want to take a sludge hammer and destroy my PC and never play a PC game again. They are not worth modding at all. I'll never touch them ever again. You can mod for days, reading guides following instructions to the T...only to be met with CTDs over and over because how unstable the game engine is. With that said, when modded you can make amazing looking characters and the animations are great. The process to get there I'd rather suffer in hell before I do that again. In fact I take that back, I'm pretty sure if I went to hell that be my eternal suffering. The worst games I ever had to mod ever. Wasn't worth wasting my life doing that what so ever. 1k+ hours of skyrim wasted of my life...granted a lot of it is the engine not so much the mods.

 

I do however recommend Sims 4. The mods are amazing, you can get a lot of variety and its really just focused on the adult side of it. The big thing however is while character customization lacks compared to modded Skyrim, can never really get that extreme detail you can get with modded skyrim. However the animations are varied and you can get a lot of animations (made by various people so all won't be same exact quality and what not). There are some gameplay mods, but I'd avoid most of the script mods tbh they can cause issues when the game updates. I only got a few script mods + the loverslab wickedwhims and rest are character clothing/animations/items/cosmetics etc. The game also can do a lot more than just sex stuff, kinda like skyrim but a lifesim instead. Tbh I find it far more realistic for it to have sex stuff, its rather fitting. AND...to mod it is as easy as downloading a mod, putting it in mod folder (properly) and starting the game with mods/scripts enabled.

 

And that is literally it. Drag and drop for Sims 4. Can't have outdated scripts though, but old animations/items/clothing etc all work. Best and easiest game to mod for sex stuff. Can't get any easier than Sims 4 as far as adult game modding goes.

 

Bonus:

Kenshi has some adult content for mods, and the base game rather has themes not meant for children or teens (slavery for one). No sex stuff as far as I know, but has nude mods and bouncing breasts. Very great game and be perfect for sex stuff.

You could start with a few visual novels (search for the Yuri tag) or the cheap or free adults only games such as Amorous, Boobs Saga, Princess & Conquest, the aforementioned Breeders of Nephylym or Nekojishi on Steam before moving on to anything more complicated such as game modding or hunting for niche titles.

Free alpha or beta game build downloads of adult games on Patreon will also give you an idea of what's possible and what you may with to search for later.

 

As for modding Bethesda Game Studio games, the more stable 64-bit Skyrim Special Edition and Fallout 4 don't have much in the way of problems if one doesn't try to install every script heavy mod and have them running at all times at minimal efficiency.
