Scorpion_SK Posted October 20, 2019 Posted October 20, 2019 View File Mila COS002 Barefoot & Topless Breakable Mila's 2nd costume with removed shoes and top. Contains two variations of the mod: the first is with breakable jacket and the second is without jacket Tested only on Game version 1.11 and REDELBE version 1.3. Perhaps will work with later game versions too. Squizzo Posted October 23, 2019 Posted October 23, 2019 Great work. How did you managed to edit the nude body without it becoming warped? Do you have to manually rebuild the weights?

Do you have to manually rebuild the weights? Specifically in this costume MIL_COS_002 it was more luck than editing. Because the SaafRat's nude mod, from which i copied the body part, was weightmapped mostly on the same bones which used in my costume. And the second lucky coincidence, that the coverage of softbody nodes in the original costume and in the SaafRat's mod also was almost the same - so softbody update script also worked ideally without deforming the breasts. I fixed manually the weights of only two vertices on her left thigh. All other nude parts i just copied as is and just deleted the faces which was covered by the costume parts. But currently i work on MIL_COS_003 and HTM_COS_003, and this costumes have much less similarities with corresponding nude mods: 1. In MIL_COS_003 i have fixed the deformed feet by merging .vgmap files in text editor in such way that it will contain both: - all the bones which are used in SaafRat's body - and all the bones which are used in original costume. Then i assigned this merged vgmap file to the body. 2. And the second problem - that both this costumes have different positions of the softbody nodes than in the nude mods. So currently i am still working on manually calculating and duplicating soft body nodes to cover all needed areas by them. First i see (press N to see numeric parameters of the node) and calculate the X,Y and Z distances between the existing nodes. Then i select multiple nodes and duplicate them. Then i press N to show their numeric positions, then i press Alt + ? to unlock the movement of the nodes on corresponding axis. Then i press G and without moving the mouse enter X (or Y or Z) and the precise value on which i want to move the nodes - the values must be the same as the distances between other existing nodes. And after all this i search in the top right window all the new created nodes by entering the filter ]. to find all the incorrectly named nodes which looks like this for example: MIL_COS_003.g1m.SOFT[0][102].001 MIL_COS_003.g1m.SOFT[0][102].002 and manually rename each to correct names like: MIL_COS_003.g1m.SOFT[0][103] MIL_COS_003.g1m.SOFT[0][104] Otherwise softbody script will not work with them and will crash into the error. Manually renaming hundreds of the duplicated nodes is really fucking boring pain in the ass. But currently i don't know how to automate this action. Perhaps later i will try to make special script for this, but currently i only began to learn python. So at the moment i still do this manually and this takes a lot of time. When i will finish fixing nodes around their breasts i will release two my other mods for Hitomi and Mila. So as you see - there are two different problems with editing the body. The first one i fix by merging vgmap files from nude mod and original costume and by fixing manually the weights of the rare misplaced vertices. The second problem is caused by different coverage of softbody nodes for various costumes - i fix it by creating additional softbody nodes as i described above. Important is to distinguish the distortions caused by the first problem from the distortions caused by the second problem. Sometimes the distortions can be even caused by both reasons at the same time - in such cases it can be fixed only by performing BOTH actions described above. Specifically in MIL_COS_002 i had only the 1st problem but luckily not the 2nd. So my first mod was relatively simple just by lucky coincidence.

I must honestly admit, that all what i wrote before about fixind the 2nd problem is total shit. Because today my new experiments showed me that this method does not work. Just adding the additional soft body nodes through duplication of existing ones and moving them to needed positions is not enough, and the breasts still persists distorted even more than before .
