Twins

View File

Meet Danielle and Dahlia, twin sisters from Cyrodiil. They have come to Skyrim for some adventure. Unfortunately for them their adventure has gone sideways. They have been captured by bandits and are being held for who-knows-what nefarious purpose (this is LoversLab after all). If you choose to rescue them they will be happy to follow you and add to your adventures.

Basic information:

  • They can be found in the last indoor cell of Silent Moons Camp
  • Both will follow you but neither is marriageable (see Notes below)
  • Danielle is a berserker and prefers two-handed weapons and heavy armor
  • Dahlia is a combat archer and prefers bows and light armor
  • Regardless of your follower framework neither should impact your stealth
  • Both have perks in their respective weapon/armor
  • Both are naked when you find them so they have no "recurring" weapons or armors that pop up when you least want them

Requirements:

Only the vanilla Skyrim game

Thanks to:

CPU whose tutorial (https://www.loverslab.com/files/file/3045-tutorial-to-create-a-follower/) allowed me to add KS hair without a hard requirement.

The authors of KS hair (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/68311) who allow people like me to use their material requiring only the giving of credit - which I happily do. For the record, the name of the hairstyle is GroupStar.

Notes:

Spoiler

It did not seem appropriate to me to make either of the twins marriageable since only one could be married. For any user of this mod who does not know they can make most NPCs marriageable by using the console. Open the console, click on the NPC (including one of the Twins) and type the following:

addfac 19809 1

and hit enter. Assuming all other requirements have been met you should be an attractive mate when you wear an amulet of Mara. Do bear in mind that 1) your relationshiprank with them and theirs with you is important and 2) some NPCs (particularly uniquely voiced NPCs) will not respond to this approach.

I've never noticed the KS permissions. Kudos to them if they ever read this here :classic_happy:

I just found a solution for a question that troubled me some time. (* shuffles through the notes.... what was my account name over there again ?? ....*)

I don't want there to be any question of piracy. Under permission and credits you will find the following (I know no one but me ever looks at that crap on Nexus):

Author's instructions

You are free to use this mod for your followers and npc mods.
You may not use this mod for paid mods.

Exactly! I've never noticed it before and it solves sooo many aesthetical problems :classic_happy:

I noticed it first when I read it in your mod detail and immediately had a look over there. ?

"A wise man is not one who learns from his own mistakes for only a fool fails to learn from his own mistakes. A wise man is he who learns from the mistakes of others."

A wise man sees this and smiles wryly at the inversion. The fool gets it backwards.

The most difficult thing of all, is to see one's own folly, while the easiest, is to see the folly of others.

As it mentions in The Bible, somewhere: cast the beam out of thine own eye, before criticizing the splinter in the eye of someone else.

Just sayin'.

Very nice to see you creating stuff;-))

Me, I also began in the past creating followers and then I dived quickly into the deep:-)

Thank you for your encouragement, both now and previously. I don't think that I'm ready "to go off the deep end" but I have "dipped my toe" into nif files and NifSkope. Who knows? Maybe some future mod of mine will contain some retextured ZAP 7 items? I suppose anything is possible.

Thank you for the followers Psalam.

However I did notice a problem. You forgot to include facetints, so they will have a mismatched head for everyone using the file other than you ;)

Good pick up. Corrected version (1.1) loaded.

so umm what is difference between twinscc 1.0 and twins 1.1 which i should download if i want 2 cute ladies to time to time give love ?

TwinsCC has SexLab support and Twins (not CC) does not. So, if you want these ladies to have consensual sex with you the TwinsCC is what you want. Do bear in mind that Twins (not CC) can use SexLab with mods such as Matchmaker and Puppet Master but the consensual sex is lacking.

Thank you :) your mod sounds interesting especially consensual content, with cynthia i definatelly give it a spinn. There arent many companion mods like these and its what makes them unique. Romantic aspect with other mods definatelly gives everyone something to look forward so thank you for your work with cynthia and twins :)
