I thought that ZAZ was older and that ZAP was supposed to be its replacement. I know they were created by different people and I thought that DD integrated with with ZAZ and ZAP and in fact I was under the impression that one of them was required for DD to work. Lastly someone mentioned there are things out there that will basically replace DCL and pretty much make it irrelevant. I am asking this because I run quite a few mods and sometimes seem like I run into conflicts. It's the reason I removed Slaverun and SD+. I have tried also to look around to see if there are good examples of load orders to see if it has just been my load order or if its just that I am running mods that have more scripts than skyrim can handle. Including my current load order. There are mods I would love to add back but don't because I am trying to get to a stable skyrim that I can play without having a lot of CTD's." Especially I evade all those Komotor related mods. Don't get me wrong, his animations are outstanding, but way too long for the regular devious gameplay with all it's defeat and quicky rapes and whatever. Also Delzaron mods work best in specialized LO's, means on setups where not many mods poll constantly to start an event on the PC. The reason: Delzaron mods are Quest mods with a lot of scenes that can be easily broken my any mod that fires while the quest scene is running. This means the quest gets stuck. In emergency most quests can be repaired by console setstage. Then there was great strife between the gods of DD and ZAZ. To prevent the devious universe -as we know it- to collapse, the gods severed the framework links, so both frameworks could feel like only half finished. They did that with great success and now you life in a world there the one side has the emotion and the other the function ?♂️. Or to say it bluntly: IKEA and the famous hardware store don't work together anymore unless mods make it happen with duct tape.

As I see it: DCL is the AIO solution for users that don't want to try out many more specialized mods and get them work together. Trying to simulate DCL with many smaller mods can be time consuming to find the right mix and LO compilation. Also it must be mentioned that many smaller mods learned from Kimy's work on DCL. Atm DCL goes the way of isolation, means it becomes harder to fit DCL in a complex devious LO. To say it with kimy's words: "DCL and SLaV are the only mods the usual user will ever need" The issue with an AIO solution is that it gets less compatible to other mods and you will have redundant mods functions sooner or later in your ever growing LO. That said, I won't ever agree to DCL as irrelevant, because its a great start into the devious LL world and also still can be combined with other devious mods. It's just one big block in your mod LEGO box. Everyone has it's own tastes and some even have many =D

Only way around that would be to create specialized Setups. As soon as you have 2 or 3 mods that want to partially the same the issues starts. You can be lucky and the mod author added DHLP suspend signals, know that the PC is already in a scene or debug functions that can make it possible to run more mods together that want to the same at the same time. If not it's up to you to make them compatible by clever use of MCM settings and timing (and debug functions >.<). From the technical aspect you can mainly influence compatibility issues by moving mods in LO, patches, bash patch, TESV merge patches, TESV edit. (or just deinstall at least one of those mods lol, I know I knwo it's soo hard)

For example your LO is a bad example in that regard already, because you use more mods than one to change the same Skyrim environment. That's why it's important to read about compatibility issues on the mod pages. This is mainly of importance for Nexus mods. What I see right away... More than one weather mod: 41 29 ELFX - Weathers.esp 55 37 Cathedral Weathers.esp use only one. from the Cathedral page: "Not compatible with other weather mods. Cathedral Weathers includes custom precipitation and thunder audio, as well as extreme, wilderness-only, blizzards. If you want to patch a mod like true storms, you may wish to create a standalone esp that depends on the sound files found in true storms. Activating both the TS and CWS esp's will result in too many volume sliders for rain and thunder audio. "

Not hard on the system. Deadly Pleasures => another Komotor animation showcase mod. Makes sense to run it together with SBT if you have the Komotor animations installed. Delzaron mods are prone to break if other mods disrupt quest scenes. Best to deactivate some force greet heavy mods while doing those quests. Not hard on the system. SD+ => & SLdialoges. SD+ is in my load order pretty compatible to everything or to be more precise: it can be broken by other mods but doesn't effect other mods as much. It is light on the system, because it will effect your game only if triggered. SLdialoges on the other hand will try to trigger something if the PC is vulnerable. Most of the time it will loose a conflict with other mods that want to do the same: trigger force greet/make comment/start rape. Slaverun Reloaded => this is a big mod and if you don't use it just for eye candy you will be involved in it a lot. Worth a specialized LO, because not much time to do something else. If not for the SRR quests it's great to make SKyrim feel more devious, dangerous and oppressed. The enforcer system and handling of slaves in cities will effect the effective system capacity. Night Mistress Mansion => more a quest mod again with less sandbox influences. Not hard on the system. Delzaron mods are prone to break if other mods disrupt quest scenes. Best to deactivate some force greet heavy mods while doing those quests. Neophytes of Dibella => more like an addon to DeepBlueFrogs's "The Sisterhood of Dibella". Not hard on the system. Angirm's Apprentice => Super old succubus quest, not linear and can be done in stages. Just quests so not hard on the system. Scenes are easy to break by any mod that runs force greets or forced scenes on the PC while Angrim is busy with you. Raven's Beak => still in development? It's awhile I tried it. Not compatible with other prison mods or DCL. Prone to break if quest scenes get interrupted, best to deactivate force greet heavy mods or spawn mods or SD+ dreamworld transfer while in there. SL Werewolves => not tried SL Pleasure => not tried. From what I see I would be careful with other mods that like to interrupt quest scenes by force greets. SL Retreat => is a ZAZ-ified playerhome, no compatibility issues. Not hard on the system. (I love it ^^). I think it's called Slavers Retreat unless you meant something completely different. Goes well together with PAHE or/and SD+ & Inte's SDpatches Spank that Ass => must have! No compatibility issues. Not hard on the system. If you have issues switch to "speak thru dummy" SL Defeat => buggy as hell, but not much alternatives around, I don't know what is available for SE.

To my experiance: > outfits and friends don't make it hard for Skyrim (maybe for VRAM depending what texture resolutions you use or if the meshes are bad) > pure Quest mods don't have much impact either, they might conflict with light overhauls and environmental changes, NPC overhauls > mods that regularly poll, check player inventory, change loot, run events and force greets on the PC anytime anywhere are the hard hitters on the setup resources. > FNIS registered animations hit the system hardest, be resonable => still all those mods add up, and even if they on their own don't demand much from your system, the more are triggered/used/run effects at the same time (or in a short time span) the hard it gets for your Skyrim to keep things fluid.

I was using SE and I was having so many crashes with the mods that I wanted to use that I loaded up LE again. That being said after reading through everything you wrote I do have some initial takeaways and I am early enough in my game on LE that while I don't wish to start over again. I can if necessary. Weather I can go down to one. If I have to chose one I think it is going to be True Storms. I like the intense storms from that mod. Lighting I though ELFX and LOS kind of went hand and hand. That not being the case I will probably drop ELFX Delzaron Mods His mods seem interesting but from what I have read here I tend to agree with what you stated and it would seem that they are sometimes more trouble than what they are worth based on what I read. So if those have to go no issue. SL Defeat - reason for this and its not currently loaded is I was looking for a mod that when in battle or even with like devious followers, etc the option for the PC to be sent on the famous walk of shame or put into slavery were there. If there is a better option I am definitely open. I unloaded daymol because I had read that it caused a lot of issues. Sometimes looking through my papyrus logs I will see VM is Freezing/Thawing/Etc. This is what was leading me to believe I was possibly to script heavy and possibly causing some of the CTD's. I knew it wasn't system.....well because again 2950/128gb ram/12 gb 1080 so I knew the resources were there. Oops sorry, I just can't stop sometimes ^^ I also always catch me thinking why the mods are not in my LO (apart from the esp limit xD) Well with LE you make things easier on me, because I don't know if mods only get converted to SE or if they get some bug fixes on the way or options get removed -because not compatible with SE- and this in turn would make them more stable.

Any added polling mod or spawn mod or what ever will break the camels back. Not much space left for outfits and followers tho ^^ As you can see not much mods to change the Skyrim environment, texture/mesh replacers don't show up in LO anyways. Focus is more on the interactive part of LL/Nexus mods. Well also it rather devious o.o But it shows what is possible. No merged mods other than patch merges via bashed patch. With mod merges it would be possible to add even more LL mods/combat mods/need overhauls and stuff. This also would make the LO more instable, means if I merge to free esp I would do that only to add more outfits and some enviromental overhauls, not to add more mods that cause strain on the system. For testing it's great, a more specialized LO would be more stable in critical situations (lot of mods trigger events all at once). I use Naked Dungeons (NDUN) now, most stable defeat system around atm, also can send you to SS+. Drawback, it has no follower defeat system. My connection to SD+ is DEC 90% of the time (I like the local enslavement) SS+ 9% via NDUN or DF 1% SD+ own surrender function (it's really slow and works best if only a few enemies are close by)

Two what I am hoping are the last questions I have. 1) I have vampireslaversden and nethers followers installed. I moved them both to the bottom of the LO because their descriptions say to put them as far down as you can. Now when I go to load a save it is saying those two mods are missing. Using Vortex both show enabled in vortex. 2) I have a device on...gag....it is not in my inventory therefore I can't unlock it. Cursed loot is set to the default cannot access menu if restraints on. Is there another way to remove the gag.
llokii70 Posted October 6, 2019 Author Posted October 6, 2019 never mind question one at this point....vortex must have been flaking.....I know I checked the plugins numerous times and they were enabled....checked again and they were disabled.....will try to load now....2nd question would be great if you know.
llokii70 Posted October 6, 2019 Author Posted October 6, 2019 Actually I was wrong, thank god in some ways. I knew I wasn't crazy. When I enabled those three this time in Vortex and went to load the save it said all my other stuff was missing.
