Rokabur Posted September 28, 2019 Posted September 28, 2019 Probably a lost cause but wondering if anybody knows of or could possibly make a compatibility patch to get https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/40615 to work with https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/52248.
KoolHndLuke Posted September 28, 2019 Posted September 28, 2019 Even if you patch it, Legacy will fubar your game at around a hundred hours due to bad scripting and save bloat I'm told. Same thing with Vigilant. I would suggest playing that mod once without a patch and then uninstalling it for a new play-through later with the other mod. You could also try patching it yourself.

Are you sure your other mod isn't in the patches for Legacy? Did you check the homepage with a link to patches? It's easy to miss things sometimes.

They also state there is a patch to reduce conflicts but can't find any trace on its Nexus page. I have both of the patch collections for Legacy downloaded and there is no patch available. I followed the link about the X-Edit/TES5Edit and I have no idea what I'm supposed to do when it states to drag the changes into my patch.

You simply left-click on the slot and hold and "drag" it into the patch column. Once you do, the record will turn orange or green showing that it is patched. Nothing you do in X-Edit is saved until you exit. If you feel you've made a mistake, then just un-check the boxes so they aren't saved and try again. I've been doing this for years and still make mistakes- so it's just part of modding.
