Social Event Menu Disappearing

Okay, so I've been having this problem for a while but its a pain. I can't  use the Plan a Social EVent menu. It pulls up but is completely blank and I can't click on anything after it pulls up. Not sure which of my mods is causing this but it started happening after the June updates of the mods I use. I use Nisa, WW, Basemental Drugs, Azmodan22 Bondage Devices, and other animation and texture replacers. Help!

Remove mods out of your mods folder and retest until the problem goes away.  Then slowly add mods back in and retest in game until you identify the culprit.

same problem here:

when I try to start a social event (calendar and phone) everything is blank..... Nothing....

I tried removing mod after mod but it doesn’t work. Only after a fresh install without any mod or cc running.

At least WW and NisasWP should work. Without these Sims4 is no fun at all any longer...

 

Does Someone found out what might cause this?

I'd try just WW alone because it might be Nisa's WP causing it.

 

BTW have you updated both WW & Nisa's to latest versions, plus also the game?

Yes I did that, checking evrey 2-3 days for updates. but the problem now is there since 2 or 3 months...

 

Taht´d be sad if Nisa´s WP would cause that.....

 

So does that mean that I´m the only one with this problem.....?

Sounds like it, since I haven't read any others with that problem.

It could be corrupted game files, data, or saves too.

 

Remove all mods to your desktop in a Temp folder.

 

Go into Saves folder and delete, or move, WickedWhimsMods & Nisa's to desktop also.

 

Delete your localthumbcache in your TS4 folder.

 

Do an Origin Repair Install.

 

Load game save without any mods. but only up to the Map screen not into family.

 

Do a 'save as' Test, or whatever, and exit game.

 

Delete your localthumbcache again.

 

Install WW + Animations only, for now,  and retest in game but don't make any saves yet.

Your goal is to get the game + WW working first.

 

If it is working OK then you can add Nisa's WP back in.

 

The only other mods I'd put back in are MCCC, Basemental Drugs, Wild Guys Female Body Details, and cc hair, makeup, clothing, etc.

Skins, Overlays, and Body mods are usually OK too.

 

Using any other script mods might cause problems, especially those that change or add major new game features like WW and Nisa's.

So...

 

I finally managed to solve the issue but..... I don´t know how ?

 

I reinstalled the game, and created a new savegame with - as far as I konow - the same mods I used to have before... it works now.

 

Maybe there was an old package somewhere down in my mods folder but I don´t think it was a scripted on. All scripted mods I used before are back in the game.....

 

Anyway, it works now :)
