Guest Posted September 11, 2019 Posted September 11, 2019 I been playing Around with Outfit Studio to Make my own armor mashups. What I been doing is that I have been using other armor mods that contain a lot of armor parts across different slots and swapping parts to make body armor in slot 32. To do this I need to change the partitions to make the part visible, but in doing so I end up creating a neck and wrist gap for the main character and all npc's. Naked body don't show any gaps. Can anybody please help solve this?
Swe-DivX Posted September 12, 2019 Posted September 12, 2019 Anny mod overwrite the default body after you built the body. Have you built the default body as -Zeroed Sliders-? UUNP or CBBE or UNP or UUNP Special? MO or MO2? What body Reference are you replacing or adding to the armor? Is body Reference built with -Zeroed Sliders-? In Tesedit are the armor Weight slider Enabled... Mod nif file ends with _1.nif... guessing you have ?

I have tesedit but I really don't know how to use it. And File ends with _1.nif. Im trying To mash together armor parts with different partitions. What Im trying to do is simplify Armor sets like Nisetanaka's bikini sets so that instead of having the set occupy several slots it all fits in the body slot (32). When I change one of the parts partition, it creates a neck and wrists gap. I looked up how to fix the gap and none of the solutions seen to work. And I haven't seem a topic were the gap is being caused by the partition (By the way I tested the Partition thing and verified that once added it causes the problem).
myuhinny Posted September 12, 2019 Posted September 12, 2019 Changing a partition shouldn't be causing a seam gap. I change partitions all the time and have never had this happen. When you edit a nif file you must edit BOTH nifs files. Most outfit and armors have a _0 and a _1 nif and what you do in one nif must be done in the other nif as well. So you either need to edit both nifs or edit one nif and then use the edited nif to make a new _0 and _1 set.
Guest Posted September 12, 2019 Posted September 12, 2019 Went I Save the project I get a _0 and _1 Nif file So I assume I'm Already getting the two files, But just in case, Its there any other step to get the _0.nif file?

You built the armor after you saved the project? You have to restart Bodyslider in MO2 after you save the project. Check the date on the files. You can share the project in pm if you want.
Guest Posted September 16, 2019 Posted September 16, 2019 I managed a workaround for the neck gap. By changing the characters weight the gaps disappeared. I don't think weight is the root cause, but at least I don't have the annoying Gaps anymore. There are actually other topics advising to change the weight, but initially when I tried My Character would disappear.
RW311 Posted September 17, 2019 Posted September 17, 2019 Two things that are common cause of the gap are _1 and _0 nif have different data, bodyslide created outfit this should not be a problem. Second that is annoying but very easy to fix is when making changes or creating new armor addon with ck it often disables the female weight slider flag, open in xedit and check that any new armor addon or any existing one that you changed nif assignment to still has female weight slider enabled.
