nemocdt Posted September 5, 2019 Posted September 5, 2019 3ds max 2012 requires havok tools 2010. havok tools 2010 is free download but 3ds max 2012 is no longer available from Autodesk. 3ds max 2018 is free for students but Havok tools not supported? So basically i need to find a version of 3ds 2012 to get in the game......?!? Are there work around's for using up to date software with skyrim animations it seems silly to be hunting down a 2012 copy when i can get 2018-2020 version for free. Can anyone clear this up for me?

Some people use up-to-date versions of 3ds, but export it to work with the 2012 version and from there they convert it to Skyrim ready. Besides finding a cracked version somewhere there's no legitimate way to get it anymore. Same for the Havok Content tools, after Microsoft bought the company they basically removed all the (free) downloads for Havok content tools.

Most of the guides i have found use this setup. i am now however in another pickle as my command prompt won't activate to run hkxcmd so i'm currently trying to repair my image fml ? windows somehow forced an update on me on the 16th of last month it appears my admin account was corrupted so i can't run c/prompt. and it's friday when i have some me time. ? might just get drunk and suck at battlefield.
