chibidoll Posted August 30, 2019 Posted August 30, 2019 Hello! After adding some files to my mod folder, my game wont load. It starts up with the logos and then the music for the main meny starts, but nothing happens. To be clear, this is before I even load a game. If i remove all of my mods, the game works just fine. I have tried choosing just a couple of files at random and added to the mod folder, but the game never loads with them there. How do I fix this? Appreciate any help possible!!
simdulgence Posted August 31, 2019 Posted August 31, 2019 If the game loads without any mods, you know it is a mod issue. You shouldn't test mods randomly, you should add mods back in a methodical way - add 5 mods, test the game. If the game fails to load, the culprit is in those five mods. If it loads, those mods are safe, put them in a subfolder and try the next five. Nobody knows what mods you have so it's hard to pinpoint what mod could be causing the problem.

Whatever it was you added last is the problem....remove whatever it was you added + delete the localthumbcache.pkg file too and try again....
