Monsto Brukes Posted January 9, 2013 Posted January 9, 2013 I've followed the tbbp thread since it's inception, but can't for the life of me tell if there's some kinda all-seeing all-knowing fix for the crushed breast problem that people have. Personally, I had it, changed something, and it went away completely. Gave a zip of the installs that i was using to someone else and they had it. So if there is a fix or series of steps that will minimize it, separating it from the noise in that thread would be best. i'll put it in the op here. Update Jan 23/28: FIX ACDale has posted v2.4 of ADEC body which fixes the crush breast issue. Read this post here in this thread for details. Post in this thread if you followed these instructions but it didn't fix it for you.
Monsto Brukes Posted January 10, 2013 Author Posted January 10, 2013 So after some experimentation, I have crushed breast for all races except orcs. acdale has crushing on breton, high elf, argonian, khajiit and imperial. for both of us, the orc/elf fix makes all races crush. Anyone have a different experience?

[/quote'] Yeah, try a different skeleton. I've come to like Skulltyrant's skeletons best, personally, for a number of reasons. Search for the Perfect 3-2 TBBP skelly from his Nexus page. Probably the best general purpose TBBP skeleton that is around. I've been seeing no ragdoll crush on UNP-TBBP. What skeleton(s) have you been using?

It's called "OLD" Rig, not because it's outdated, but because he removed two bones which were causing the issue. With those gone, you'll have no problems with TBBP and have a superior skeleton.

[edit] tbbp 101, adec 2.2, xpms, xpms patch: Not only makes all races crush for me, but some of the dead bodies in my test save were moved. The save is looking dead at the dead bodies, so i can start the game, see what i need then quit, so i know that the player pov hasn't moved. Normal: tbbp 101, adec 2.2, xpms, xpms patch:

[/quote'] XPMS patch only fixed the butt crush problem. The boob crush is still very much so a problem with XPMS. I am firmly of the mindset that while XPMS is probably a great skeleton for non-boob physics applications, it sucks with TBBP. But I digress. The HKX is only a bone list, I think... if you're within the same bone structure you can use the one that installed with TBBP. Or the one that installs with ADEC I suppose. Hmm... so I had not tried ADEC before but just installed for lulz and saw no crush on a Redguard corpse, at least. Are you sure you have a 3-2 TBBP skeleton and that its not an old 3-2 BBP skeleton? For that matter you're installing it *after* the TBBP main file and the ADEC pack?

I don't remember what all i did, but I did a couple hrs of in n out with the game just looking and I'm certain that now I have newest everything. If not active, it's available at the chk of a box. And yeah it's ordered properly. Take a look at Mod Organizer in my sig... it makes versions and load ordering extremely certain. As I just tested it as above -- with 3-2, latest xpms, and then with xpms patch -- all races crush. With adec 2.0 (i think a private release), orcs don't crush. adec 2.2 has a different skele, but when adding either xpms or 3-2, all races crush. as said in the op, acdale had half the races crush using the same files that I had installed (i gave him my relevant dirs) and we both had clean installs. Now, with you talkin about redguard no crush off the same basic install that both me and acdale were using, it's clear that there's some factor other than installed mods that's affecting the crushing. Whether or not it's the core, who knows, but it definitely affects it.

Generally I'm pretty insistent on overwriting files. I guess it might not be a Redguard, just a dark skinned Nord. Regardless, I had Realistic Ragdolls running at the time to play with it. But yet again, inconsistent result. Adec, without any skeletons, using tbbp skeletons. Now it's orc, khajiit, argo that do not crush. Everyone else crushes, but it's different than when using the other skeletons. Anyone else do this? what's your results?
ThatGuyJonus Posted January 11, 2013 Posted January 11, 2013 The old solution to this was to use a non tbbp HKX skeleton file, but without a TBBP HKX File (basically XPMS and DRagonfly's original one) TBBP animations wont actually animate properly. AT this point you have to choose between crushed breasts or fully functioning TBBP. Don't qoute me on this but I believe this issue is partially related to the Havok physics in that the breast01 bones basically invert or change orientation on death, cause the breast to sink instead of remaining in the proper position.
acdale Posted January 11, 2013 Posted January 11, 2013 Messing around with all the hkx files and many different skeletons I found out that If you install ONLY dragonfly's skeleton_female.hkx file from v 1.01....As in copy just that file and paste it into your Data\meshes\actors\character\character assets female folder....Then drop skulltyrants tbbp skeleton_female.nif into the same foler...tbbp works perfectly and with no crushed breasts for any races......beast race requires his beastrace skeleton of course What appears to make this work , for me at least , is the BsLagBoneController on the prebreast nodes.....removing them or installing a skeleton that does not have the lagbone controller causes 1/2 of the races to crush again... It sucks because that lagbone controller changes the way the breast behave and I never did like using it.... I am going to deepen my research into the hkx files and what they reference later tonight after work... Hopefully we can find a fix for this once and for all without having to use the lag controller :-)

And then this should load after adec (or whatever body choice) right? and then xpms... main download on his nexus page, right?

What he did for a fix may have fixed it for him, but there's still plenty of people that have the problem to varying degrees.

Should be the same with NMM or manual. I'll let him tell you how he's going to publish his findings, but using a prerelease ADEC v2.31 shows no crushed breast on death with full on tbbp active. Here's hoping it works for everyone.

There's so many. He gave me a prerelease of 2.31 adec this morning that fixed it. he had to go into the skeleton(s) and make changes. When he ups it, get it and try it without other body mods. then, i'll bet that you can load whatever body mod after it and it will continue to work. But we won't know until he releases.
