Creation Kit first person changes

I've spent about three hours now trying to get this to work and failed miserably, so if someone could give me some pointers or even upload the edits for me I'd be very grateful.

 

Firstly, I use the Left Hand Rings Modified and Left Hand Enchanted Rings mods, and I've finally grown too annoyed with the fact they don't show up in first person and tried to change it. I'm also using the Dark Envoy armour, specifically the claws, which also don't show in first person.

 

The problem is that I'm changing the first person flags in TESVEdit, for both high elf and the vampire version to include slots 60 (for left hand rings) and 59 but nothing seems to change. Secondly, the claws use the same slot as the vanilla ring, 36 I think, so I changed the Biped Object in the CK to 59. This seems to stop using the same slot as the ring but the claws are no longer visible in third person either, so I'm stumped. Is this something to do with having the default race in the dropdown in the CK? As I understand it all playable armour uses that option instead of a specific race.

 

Just to confuse matters even more, I looked at the claws in TESVEdit and the first person flags are set to 36-Rings by default. Wouldn't that mean they should be visible in game already?

it would be helpful to convert the ring meshes BSDismemberSkinInstance to NiSkinInstance (use NifSkope to do that)

....or maybe find a different ring mod?

and there's nothing in google about that?

 

load tesedit (crap kit? or how to make stuff more complicated than necessary), go to those rings esp, then armor addon, in there you have data\meshes\whatever, above there's first person nif, put data\meshes\whatever_1st there

take more time to load tesedit than copy paste the nif path adding _1st

 

ctrl f 1st armor folder, or unzip meshe.bsa, in there there's nifs ready to go for that

open ironglove_1st, and whatever, copy paste ring from whatever in ironglove_1st

if that don't end up on the finger, because first person skeleton isn't the same, arms are highter and closer to body, just click on the mesh, transform, and move it on the finger
