Hi Community,

First of all - apologize if this is the wrong Forum to post this topic - didn't know better.

Second - I'm a noob when it comes to modding... please have patience.

I want to create a game build up with various loverlab items. But before adding this items I'm trying to get the basics in order... like skeletons, skin textures..

Unfortunately thats where I already fail.. i dont seem to get the skin textures in game properly running. I've read different advises on where to put XPMSE and the textures in the load order on different forums, the mod descriptions, Steam... Nothing really seemed to work. So I hoped you guys could help me.

I use ModOrganizer, Loot, TES5, BodySlide, FNIS (SKSE through STEAM and SKUI is properly running)

My MO loadorder is the following:

Skyrim.esm
Update.esm
Dawnguard.esm
HearthFires.esm
Dragonborn.esm
Unofficial Skyrim Legendary Edition Patch.esp
HighResTexturePack01.esp
HighResTexturePack02.esp
HighResTexturePack03.esp
Unofficial High Resolution Patch.esp
SkyUI.esp
RaceMenu.esp
RaceMenuPlugin.esp
JaxonzEnhGrab.esp
UIExtensions.esp
FNIS.esp
FNISspells.esp
Modern Brawl Bug Fix.esp
SOSRaceMenu.esp
XPMSE.esp
RaceMenuMorphsUUNP.esp
Alternate Start - Live Another Life.esp

Since the textures have no .esp here the list with the mod-priorities in MO: (bottom to top)

-Devious Devices Assets
-ZazAnimationPackV7
-SexLabFramework v162 FULL

+SKSE Output
+FNIS Output
+TES5 Output
+Alternate Start - Live Another Life
+Fores New Idles in Skyrim - FNIS
+Real Girls Realistic Body Texture for UNP UNPB
+RaceMenu
+UNP BLESSED BODY UNP
+DIMONIZED UNP female body
+BodySlide and Outfit Studio
+XP32 Maximum Skeleton Extended
+Modern Brawl Bug Fix
+Jaxonz Positioner
+Fuz Ro D-oh - Silent Voice
*Unmanaged: SkyUI
+UIExtensions
+Unofficial High Resolution Patch
*DLC: HighResTexturePack01
*DLC: HighResTexturePack02
*DLC: HighResTexturePack03
+Unofficial Skyrim Legendary Edition Patch
*DLC: Dawnguard
*DLC: Dragonborn
*DLC: HearthFires

So yeah.. I'd appreciate a lot if someone could help me to get these things right. Like to enjoy loverslab content with a nice looking char and pretty npcs around ;)

And again - if this the wrong forum for this post, please forgive and let me now where to post it.

Thanks

drop the highres packs as they don't do anything but eat up your ram also i recommend finding All-in-One UUNP HDT AP 4.0 Standard Edition (2K Optimized) here on ll as it has several things you may be looking for and then over on the nexus find your other desired mods and also don't run skyrim through steam as it doesn't play nice with stability for the game especially with specific mods found here and pick your chosen body and only use it two body mods at once will cause huge problems with everything and will break the game this is from experience

Textures are mostly loose files so put the important ones at the bottom of the "file order", that is the left panel in MO. MO has good hints foor loose files if you look at the flags icons. You'll see lightning icons with a plus, minus or combination of both, telling you that files of the mod overwrite others files or are overwritten when you run the game. Double clicking a mod shows exactly what is overwritten in the conflicts tab. Move the texture mods you want to use towards to the bottom of the left panel until none of the textures are overwritten by other mods.

Explain what you mean by this. If necessary post a screenshot of the problem. Otherwise you are going to get useless information such as the two posts above.

Thank you for all your replies.

Desipte having the skin textures in the load order, neither in bodyslide nor in the game (when i start a new game) the skin seems to have been adopted. Its still the shabby vanilla texture.

I would like to know where i need to position the skin textures in the load order in order to be displayed properly in game as well.

I don't use MO myself but doesn't it let you know if one thing is overwriting another?

If you have vanilla texture on a UNPB it will not fit correctly and you will have things like the nipples on the texture not aligning with the nipples on the underlying body.

ok, I played for the lst hour around, trying different order positions and so on.. the skin for the body works.. only thing that is still ugly as hell is the face.

A picture paints a thousand words. A screenshot might help identify the problem.

Save as jpg

Drag the jpg to the paperclip in the bottom left there.
