dose anyone know how to install 3Ds Max 2010 in Linux? it keeps failing on the installation of Backburner with "failed installation aborted, result=120"

this is a time sensitive question, i'm about to build a new computer and the parts i use depend on what OS will run my tools.

Linux build Plan (AKA: windows 10 is fucking spyware and nvidia's Linux drivers suck) :
AMD Ryzen 7 3700X $448
Asus TUF GAMING X570-PLUS  $240
XFX Radeon RX 5700 XT $538
Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 DRAM 3600MHz C18  $130
a PSU with a extra EPS Connector? $100-$130

win10 build plan (AKA: Linux is too hard to use and i need my programs to run + nvidia is fine in windows) :
Intel Core i5-9600K $330 (+ Noctua NH-C14S $100)
MSI MAG Z390 TOMAHAWK $200
Gigabyte GeForce RTX 2070 8 GB GAMING OC $600
Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 DRAM 3333MHz C16  $130
ANTEC EARTHWATTS Gold PRO (aka: a re-branded SeaSonic FOCUS Gold) $115

also i don't know if max 2010 will run in win10, i don't have a win10 computer to it test on.
