MadMansGun Posted August 10, 2019 Posted August 10, 2019 dose anyone know how to install 3Ds Max 2010 in Linux? it keeps failing on the installation of Backburner with "failed installation aborted, result=120" this is a time sensitive question, i'm about to build a new computer and the parts i use depend on what OS will run my tools. Linux build Plan (AKA: windows 10 is fucking spyware and nvidia's Linux drivers suck) : AMD Ryzen 7 3700X $448 Asus TUF GAMING X570-PLUS $240 XFX Radeon RX 5700 XT $538 Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 DRAM 3600MHz C18 $130 a PSU with a extra EPS Connector? $100-$130 win10 build plan (AKA: Linux is too hard to use and i need my programs to run + nvidia is fine in windows) : Intel Core i5-9600K $330 (+ Noctua NH-C14S $100) MSI MAG Z390 TOMAHAWK $200 Gigabyte GeForce RTX 2070 8 GB GAMING OC $600 Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 DRAM 3333MHz C16 $130 ANTEC EARTHWATTS Gold PRO (aka: a re-branded SeaSonic FOCUS Gold) $115 also i don't know if max 2010 will run in win10, i don't have a win10 computer to it test on.
