full_inu Posted August 5, 2019 Posted August 5, 2019 I just recently got an armor that required a little piece of head skin to be connected with body, but when I insert it into armor I immediately got my not first, not last trouble - color of that skin part does not match color of the body. My environment is UNP preset generated meshes and Fair Skin textures. What I already checked: 1) normals off, vertex color = white, proper textures path and shaders characteristics 2) inserting whole head mesh into armor nif, results are the same
Gameplayer Posted August 5, 2019 Posted August 5, 2019 Looks like the helmet only supports 100 weight. Try setting characters weight to 100 see if that changes how it looks.  Also you might have to make a 0 weight helmet and also put a zero weight helmet mesh in the proper folder. It should look like this, helmet_1.nif helmet_0.nif  Also you may have to find the entry in xedit and change the mesh reference name so it has a _1 after it so that the game will also look for _0 nif when its applicable.

No, this is not an issue I am talking about, take your attention at the skin color.

full_inu Posted August 6, 2019 Author Posted August 6, 2019 Problem was solved by switching original flag Face_Tint to Skin_Tint. But then Creation Kit crashed. Solution - switch back to Face Tint during editing ESP in CK. Return back to Skin Tint when you don't have to edit esp anymore.
