ENB depth of field and water problem, need help :(

Hey the enb was working perfectly for many hours of gameplay but suddenly when looking at water everything else looks extremly blurry. The only thing i did was turn the enb antialiasing option on and turned it back off so im thinking this has to be the reason. Ill share a picture so you guys can better understand because im not sure how well im explaining it. https://imgur.com/k8qI6kG
I hope someone knows how to fix it :(

that's DOF params that make you concentrate at a point and blur else.Either tweak it in Show ShaderWindow - [DeapthofField.FX] or use another DOF preset.

If it was anything from the depthoffield.fx deleting every enb related file and reinstalling it should've fix it right ? ( because i did that and nothing changed)

Depends on what ENB you use. Typically, overwriting in enbseries folder files like [ enbdepthoffield.fx and enbdepthoffield.fx.ini ] *in some older configs those files can be in Skyrim main folder*_ changes the DOF FX. In ENB UI ( usually shift+ enter key ) you can tweak [DEPTHOFFIELD] TAB to a lower digits [ FadeTime=0.05 ] it makes DOF instantly focus without delay.

27X mention that in some cases SMAA fx can overlap the DOF params, again it depends on what ENB config you use.

But in most cases that I worked on ENB its the hard coded DOF has this results. Try to ON\OFF DOF with your mapped key. You can see what key is mapped in ENB UI top window [INPUT] Tab.

I'm using Rudy enb making changes to the depthoffield.fx doesnt do anything, i dont have the SMAA optional files from the enb installed. And yes turning off the depth of field makes the problem go away but then the game looks shity and what im concerned about is that even after reinstalling the enb its still the same so im thinking even if i install another enb ill have the same problem.  edit: I installed a different ENB and the problem is still there so im lost :/

Try typing "fov 70" in console and see if that helps at all. I had DOF behaving weirdly with low FOV once, adjusting FOV fixed it.

Alternatively try new save. Might be something baked into your save that does it.

Just tried both changing the FoV and a new game and both didn't work

Didn't work, it's something else thats not in the enb itself thats interfering with it.But its not mod related because when the problem occured i didnt install any new mods all i did was press shift+enter then went to the antialliasing settings and ticked both "EnableEdgeAA" " EnableTemporalAA" looked around for a second to see if there are any noticable changes and turned them off. A moment later the game became dark like its night time but it was 13:00 in game time i reloaded and it was fixed but then the whole "everything is super blurry" thing happened. Also another thing that i didnt mention is in the shift+enter settings there is a "Some settings required restarting press the apply button" but when i do it nothing really happens and thats always there.

Yes when you overwrite dof files you hit "apply", shaders will reload in 2 seconds. If you turn 'OFF' DOF and this effect is insta gone - its in the DOF focus settings, nothing will fix it.Change settings or change DOF. And don't forget, in enbseries.ini change focus time to lower digits 0.0X - so that focus will work in 0.1seconds and not 1~2 minutes to adjust to another point of focus.

Yeah nothing seems to fix it, i guess ill just give up and use DYNAVISION mod for DOF and turn off the enb DOF. Thank you for your time and i hope some of the solutions you gave will be working for other people with simillar problem. ^^

Hello friend, maybe this fix I found on reddit will work for you. Their example is different but it fixed the bug that you have for me.

I can confirm, I have a problem as the theme author and I was experimenting with hdtmempatch just a few hours ago and I ran into this problem.  As I understand it, if roughly speaking, the optimization of the HDT displaces the optimization of the enb, in this case it is dof.
