Guest Posted September 29, 2011 Posted September 29, 2011 I got NV on steam recently after viewing the NV "boom" here at LL and the stuff that was happening tickled my fancy. So I got NV and I'm beginning to mod it out. However, while I may know a lot about Lovers, I know next to nothing on NV sex mods. I've seen Animated Prostitution, Sexual Innuendo, Workgirl tryout, and sexout and I'm completely confused. Are any of these compatible with each other? Which one has the most features? Which one is the best overall? Which one is being updated and developed? Which one(s) should I get? Are these incompatible with overhaul mods such as PN or AWOP? Any help would be appreciated.
Guest Loogie Posted September 29, 2011 Posted September 29, 2011 The old version of Workgirl with sexual innuendo is the most feature complete, but Sexout is the best framework. Workgirl is being redone as a Sexout plugin that will blow what we used to have out of the water. Sexout is the equivalent of Lovers as a framework, and it's what everyone with a sex mod worth 2 cents is using now. Animated Prostitution and SI are okay for Nexus mods, but Sexout has the harder edge to it. Sexout also has all the animations present in AP and SI, and more besides. So long story short - Workgirl requires Sexout, and so does every other mod coming out that's worth playing.

Silk Posted September 30, 2011 Posted September 30, 2011 Yeah - just get sexout. Working girl was nice, but sexout just beats them all. Plus, it really does intergrate itself with Fallout nicely. What body mod are you using? Can I recommend type 6? It is a decent body with all of the vanilla armours fitted to it already.
Halstrom Posted September 30, 2011 Posted September 30, 2011 Before you download too many mods make a backup copy of your fallout new vegas folder on your hard drive somewhere as well as a Steam backup. Then make another after you have a few favorite base mods running before you accidently screw something and need a 7 hour download to restore it all for one dud file Get FOMM too as a launcher and use the BOSS Auto sort feature to make sure your mod load order is good
Guest Posted October 2, 2011 Posted October 2, 2011 Funny thing is: I completely FAILED at getting Archive Invalidation Invalidated to work. I was trying to get Type 3 (before you mentioned type 6, Silk) and it was just a mess. Steam was acting like a stubborn kid and wouldn't let me delete things in the NV game folder. So know I'm reinstalling the game and I'll need your help guys on how to start successfully modding this game (Steam Version). Also, what specifically happens in Workgirl? Is it a quest mod? A framework? Same question for SI and Sexout. I'm also assuming that the auto sorter doesn't work well for Sexout right?
beck11 Posted October 2, 2011 Posted October 2, 2011 Me too!!! Umm well I actually had it for 3 months but my last PC crapped out and I couldnt play it till now @_@ Is Sexout any better than what is currently on Oblivion? Im not really interested in turning my FNV into a sex game but if it has better stuff in it I might be tempted. How does sexout compare to loversPK?

[/quote'] Oddly enough, I can get Steam to load mods and ArchiveInvalidation easily. Anyway, you can tell Steam to verify the cache for your Fallout:NV data. It'll go through and make sure all the files are okay. If not, it'll redownload the ones that are problematic. However, this may vary from a few KB down to redownloading the entire game again as I found out. Also, grab NVSE. It is essential for the majority of mods out there and grab the 4GB enabler on NVSE site as well. Download the Fallout Mod Manager (latest version) on Nexus. This mod manager makes ArchiveInvalidation easy with a drop-down menu. One last essential thing to grab is the Unofficial Community Patches from Ravenmodding. That is the most up-to-date unofficial patch for New Vegas

I did see the community patch (is the game THAT bugged?) and I was going to download it but I failed at AII and I decided against that, instead, I reinstalled the game. Now I am unsure as uninstalling it (not suprisingly) didn't do any good. I'm stuck.
Dreamer102 Posted October 4, 2011 Posted October 4, 2011 Ah ha...I will take out WSEX and SexualInnuendo and install Sexout. Thanks everyone!
TheTraveler Posted October 21, 2011 Posted October 21, 2011 so i just decided to reinstall NEW VEGAS. as well as the latest patch and all the dlc. i can assume the version of FOMM on the nexus is adequate? i noticed there isnt an adult section on the nexus for NV either. where would i go to get these mods then?
Dreamer102 Posted October 21, 2011 Posted October 21, 2011 All the adult mods you need for New Vegas can be found here on this site. you will not find many on the nexus, and the ones that they do have there are included in the mod "Sexout" found here. Sexout is all of the mods on the nexus, plus our own here, combined into one CORRECTLY-FUNCTIONING package.
XEman Posted November 22, 2011 Posted November 22, 2011 Since I didn't want to start a new thread needlessly... First post - only just found Lovers Lab today. Wow. Seriously. Wish I'd known about this for Oblivion and FO3... but I have enough mods on FO3 that if I sneeze the thing causes a BSOD, so I'll leave that for my 'HC gamer' activities. Now, as for the topic at hand: NV has no mods at all currently, though I've played it a bit. Sadly found it a little dry, but it seems the perfect way to test the SexOut mod framework and goodies. However! I haven't added nude mods since 2009, and never added any kind of framework to Oblivion at the time. So, I just found a goldmine of mods, but so far I haven't found a solid link to a catch-all Body Replacer. SexOut is all good, but would ruin immersion without the nudity. How compatible are FO3 tex/mesh overrides with FONV? Would most Body Replacers work with SexOut, or are there particular ones that are more... conducive to playing nice with SexOut's anims? How compatible are the SexOut mods, given there seems to be only one mentioned version for FONV but links to exp-mods that don't say if they're for NV or regular FO3? Stray references to slave or other related mods don't designated NV or Regular Fallout. There's been Type3 body replacer mod mentioned, yet for the life of me I can't find the FONV version. (found some mash-up of Bouncing Breasts and Natural Bodies and Armor replacer, but that's for FO3 and frankly I don't want to download 400mb worth of archived files and sort through them to find the correct combo to use as an override) Really need a direct link. (five pages with ten tabs each and searching google, FO3 Nexus and FONV nexus have produced confusing and disappointing results) I'd be grateful! P.S. Looking for non-titanic-titties for my nude body replacement. Bouncing, armor or no armor bounce, whatever. Just so long as my character doesn't generate her own gravitational field. I know many packs have variety, however, so I imagine there'd be a nice C/D shaved/hairy option. Thanks, - Newbie P.P.S. Concerned for SexOut non-conflicting body replacement mods (for instance if there are any armor changes in standard Prostitute / exp-mods for SexOut), otherwise I'd slap the first body replacer on. Issue is finding ambiguous or packs that require other packs that require a full moon, etc etc.

[/quote'] 1: 100% Aside from some creature that doesn't appear in FONV everything else works the same. 2: All sexout mods are built for FONV 3: There's at least 3 of them on nexus, just search for Dimon 4:If you want bouncing, you need Bouncing Natural Breast
Guest Loogie Posted November 22, 2011 Posted November 22, 2011 Best way to get bouncing without being ridiculous is using the skeleton.nif from bouncing better breasts (http://www.newvegasnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=35047) and Revenag's type 3 bouncing replacer (http://www.newvegasnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=40227). Honestly, I don't understand why Revenag's work, based on Exeter's work, isn't the standard most people use.
XEman Posted November 23, 2011 Posted November 23, 2011 Dimonized Type 3 looks good. Looks like BnB is more comprehensive, or just puts all the bouncy armor in one big file when compared to Revenag's BB. To be honest I just mentioned the bouncing at random; It's something I'd rather avoid, actually. Unless packaged with proper nude texture alone it's more trouble than it's worth due to how many armor file changes there are (which I suppose could be grabbed, as it's just generic female race texture). Thanks though, at least I know the standard picks now!
Guest Loogie Posted November 23, 2011 Posted November 23, 2011 If you don't want bouncing, you can just use the original work of Exeter that Revenag's bouncing stuff is based off of.
Wadarkhu Posted November 23, 2011 Posted November 23, 2011 Hi, awesome thread, makes me think mebbe it's time to give my default Fallout some "mod-fallout" HAHA One question: All the mods are for New Vegas? Why is that? Is New Vegas a separate game entirely? Second question: My Fallout 3 is not steam. Can I get a non-steam New Vegas? Is it better? Off-topic: I wonder how Skyrim is moddable, being steam and all. :/ Thanks!

Off-Topic: As long as data are saved at client side, its moddable.

gregathit Posted November 24, 2011 Posted November 24, 2011 Agreed that it is not for the faint of heart but once you have done it all in the wasteland and after you make a backup why not take a trip east
