Since it's been a while again since I updated I figured I'd just make a post that I'm currently working on something that I've been holding off on for a long time. So So I've decided that I'm going to, after way too long a time, finalize my updates to Tracy, Alexis and Thalia this weekend (if possible) and get the updated versions uploaded. 

I was putting this off because I've been waiting for AEP to be updated (and it looked like it was to be expected soon) or a WW alternative to come around (which seems likely, but I don't know the timeframe on that), but I think it's been long enough so yeah, going to get these finished up and uploaded as soon as I can now. 

 

I'm not going to get any up today, but expect Tracy tomorrow most likely, then followed by Alexis and Thalia as I finished them up and put together their bio and lookbook pictures.

Tracy has been updated and reuploaded

 

            

 

Her description has been redone with a somewhat expanded bio and new pictures, all with her new apperance, which includes changes to many of her outfits, some new, but mostly just edits. She now wears light brown contacts with many of her outfits, while natural eye color is black/dark brown (seen in most of her casual outfits) and she's got new hairstyles. She's also now set up to use breast meshes by simdulgence, with a link in the description page above. 

 

Tracy's name has now also changed, going along with a decision I made that I think the pornstar sims should have performer names rather than using their real names, so she's now called "Tracy Mei" (Mei being the name of her mom and somethign that sort of worked as a one syllable thing), with a note in the household description of her real name being "Nozomi Teresa Muller". 

 

Her family has been mostly untouched except that her mother now uses the nursing career by Kiarasims rather than Midnitetech, who will no longer be updating most of her career mods going forwards.

Some missing dependent item. Check skin details and scars, try to delete those category by category and see what fixes the issue, that would be the culrprit. I'd be happy to know which one it was. 

 

And just to be sure... for the shared CC did you get both archives? Because it's split up into two.

I put Tracy.7z files in my empty Mod folder = her skin is red/white
I put Tracy.7z files and all files from SharedCC_6_17.2 (yes, I have downloaded part 1 and 2) in my empty Mod folder = her skin is red/white, too

 

I dunno what to delete to fix this problem.

 

Other chars, for example Alexis Vinter, don't have this problem.

Okay then it is as I said before that question, that was just to be sure. Don't delete files. Open her up in CAS and do as I said regarding removing skin details and scars one by one, it's almost certainly in one of those two categories, when you find it which one it is (especially if you can find out the slot, use this mod to see it more easily https://sparrowcc.tumblr.com/post/177212146073/i-cant-be-the-only-person-out-there-with-more) it'll be pretty obvious what the problem is and what's missing.

I thought SharedCC_6_17.22 is ONE file existing of 2 parts. I'm used of this from 7zip.

 

But I have to open both files individually and place its contents.

Okay, happy to hear it worked out. And yeah, I'm not that fancy. I just use 7zip because I wanted something other than winrar when I got a new computer, but I don't know much about how to do fancy shit like that

Sorry to disturb again. But now I'm sure I did nothing wrong.

 

I have placed the files of LinnieCaraStojanovic1of2.7z + LinnieCaraStojanovic2of2.7z in my empty Mods folder.

 

I also placed the files of SharedCC_6_17.22_1of2.7z + SharedCC_6_17.22_2of2.7z in my Mods folder.

 

Linnie is fine, Cara is not. Cara's skin and hair are red/white.

 

Edit: In CAS I deleted one file in "Brow scars" that is broken. After that she looks fine.

I believe both of those are Sims mrrakkonn got from other users here on LL and adjusted as he wanted. I don't think he would release them without the creators consent, which also assumes he'd release them to begin with. Christa Huff was someone else's Sim for example, but that user hasn't been on in a few years IIRC and I think decided to release since people kept asking.

Tenspunisher is right. Though IGI 2000 who made those sims and shared them with me has indicated it's okay that I share my edited versions, but I'm not looking on doing that as a priority.

I'm in the middle of a CC audit, so I went and took a look. It's "wild_guy PubicHair_Medium_Alt1." With just the four archives, S4TI shows that the dependencies aren't found. I know wild_guy's moved away from having all the pubic hairs as separate and has them all in one of two mods: wild_guy PubicHairCAS.package and wild_guy PubicHairDynamic.package. My current CC setup uses both but none of the older individual files (nothing personal, just tidiness) and I don't think I've had any issues with your Sims here or on the world save.

Oh yeah... yeah that'd be it.. Yeah that's a bit of an issue unfortunately. Well for the time being shouldn't be any problem for anyone to just remove that and just use dynamic pubic air or whatever they prefer themselves. I'll just try to remember to avoid using the alternate versions I made of those in my uploaded versions in the future. I've never really understood why these things have dependencies, because they're supposed to be CC clones (using different slots) not recolors. It's really annoying and it wasn't always like this.

Looks to be because its not finding the texture as opposed to the mesh. Testing with the two new files still caused it to be broken. Testing with a version of FBD from 06/19 with them separated out resolved the issue.

 

Did notice that Cara's Party outfit #1 is broken:

 

 

Its "[mrrakkonn]LynxMicroSkritSwatches.package" that appears to be broken, again missing dependencies. Says its missing both textures and meshes. Nothing obviously missing on Linnie or Cara.

 

If they're working fine for you and TriggerBlade, I imagine you have the CC in use somewhere else in your mods folder.

 

I will note that there are several dependencies errors across the CC's, but like I said, nothing that was objectively noticeable. Most appear to makeup-related, but everything appeared to be working fine. There is a large collection under not installed, however. As you can see from the image, the majority states that its trait, which again this is purely just the 4 archives, so no WW, no YFH traits, nada. The rest I can't account for, though I imagine if I added the CC folder from your world it would solve most of the errors. I'll download it again and check it out.




Edit: Alright, so adding the ~11GB folder fixed the skirt issue. No longer shows as broken. Adding the folder brought the total "Mods - Not Installed" from 37 down to 29, of which 4 are actual CC as seen below:

Again, everything appeared fine and no broken indication for the makeup. At this point, I wouldn't worry about it. Playing without the above 4 CC does result in the error message upon loading into the household that CC is missing and is being substituted. Also, the conflict detector is going off big time. Seems some of the CC is in their twice and this one file "LUUMIA_skindetail_LipTints.package" has a lot of the CC in it.

For the pubic har detail I'd just recommend leaving those out and deleting the altswatches packages I made, I won't incldue those any more. People can use the pictures I have of their nude appearances to set the pubic hair as I have it with WW, or set it however they wish. That's better. Also here's that skirt as at least.

Alexis Vinter has been updated and reuploaded!

 

 

Link to her description page, which has been updated with an expanded and elaborated biography, with many old details changed. It also includes links to download custom traits and the usual lookbook pictures, but also many new biography pictures. 

 

   

 

So Alexis has probably changed the most of my old sims with edits to her face that might not be immediately apparent but also with a different hairstyle, more and different tattoos (she's quite tatted up now) and a lip piercing as well as changes to her traits and skills, going along with the new elaborated backstory. Also included now, but not in a separate archive because there wouldn't be much difference in terms of filesize with or without, is Alexis's dad Charles Pearson. Charles is basically a deadbeat, he's unemployed and has a bunch of negative traits and dislikes. The two are not supposed to get along or really have much contact at all anymore, as Alexis would have essentially cut her ties to him. 

On a more happy note, Alexis's cat Otto is also included 

 

I also reuploaded the files for Tracy and her family, the change being only to the tray, I changed her to a 3-star celebrity.

Yes, she's next, my goal was to have them all done over the weekend but I've fallen short of that goal unfortunately. Thalia will probably be in the next couple of days. Writing up these new bios, taking all the pictures and making sure I'm happy with all the traits and such ends up taking a while.

No Thalia yet, but I still hope to get her done soon enough. Part of the reason for the delay is me getting a bit sidetracked wanting to redo all of my old AEP posters I had made. I started out updating some of them for Tracy and Alexis's bios, but then had fun doing it and decided I wanted to get at the rest of them as well, and in the process ended up adding a bunch of new ones as well, for a total of 20. 

 

So for anyone a little bit interested in having these, and with the caveat that I'll likely add more in the future, here those are a CC item. Keep in mind though that the way I intend to use these myself isn't really as normal posters anyone would have, but more like something that would be in a production office or at a convention center or something.

Posts on Patreon deemed to contain NSFW content can't be open to the public, so those I have to close to non-patrons. Besides there's nothing that's on the Patreon that's not available here.
