treye Posted August 1, 2019 Posted August 1, 2019 The closest I've found to what I want is the Hybrid Khajits mod, but it's exclusively for SSE and I don't have SSE, I have SLE. What I really want though it a mod that turns the Khajiits into more animesque cat people, Nekos specifically, essentially making them human races with Cat ears instead of human ears, +keeping the tail. Basically just a classic Neko rather than full blown furry.(no offense to people who like the idea of furries, just not my thing.) Does anyone know of one? Could I accomplish this by just replacing the Khajiit's default meshes and textures? Would also like an Argonian version as well. Something like Miqo'te and Au Ra from FF14. But I want them to fully replace all default Khajiit and Argonians. Preferably compatible with nudity mods.

FauxFurry Posted August 1, 2019 Posted August 1, 2019 Search for Ohmes-Raht, Dagi Raht cat-people and the like in the Request section. Here are a few to get you started. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/18418/ https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/60404

Those are still way to hairy for me, but thx for the lead!
NightroModzz Posted August 1, 2019 Posted August 1, 2019 You literally said you want to turn Khajiits into cats. The proper term would be demi-human cat people or humanoid cat people. You can also say neko mimi (cat ears), or nekojin (cat people) for something in japanese.

If this is too furry for you then you could always just give Khajiit ears and tail to one of the races of man. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/89747

Neko is commonly used as shorthand to refer to anime cat people in the west. 1 hour ago, FauxFurry said: If this is too furry for you then you could always just give Khajiit ears and tail to one of the races of man. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/89747 Thx for your help, I actually ended up using the Dagi-Rhat's replacer which was furtherdown the page, then spent like 2 hours figuring out how to replace the skin maps so they dont have fur beyond the tail and ears. Only issue I have now is that I'd prefer the Elf Ears variant but it doesn't seem to be working. And my friend turned out to have the Fluffy Hybrid Argonians in an old backup folder, so they look more like Au Ra now. Looks much better to me now!

I'm pretty sure it's neko mimi for both Japan and the west. Just saying "neko" seems like a bad habit from people who are kind of new to anime, or watch bad dub. I suggest saying neko mimi once first before shortening it. Just by the title alone, I thought someone wanted a bunch of talking cats in Skyrim. Well... only at first, because I am aware of that weird habit some people have. Regardless, that would be confusing to any native speakers and most likely be seen as a weird habit.
