Watchamacallit Posted July 27, 2019 Posted July 27, 2019 Hi guys. So i'm editing a mesh. Deleted some vertices that i felt were causing some weird graphical stuff by loading it into 3ds max. Vertices deleted, exported mesh, load up into outfit studio (or bodyslide/game) and it's all graphically fubare'd. Whats this about? Been scratching my head over it for the last few hours now and google really isn't helping much. Would really appreciate any help Â
MadMansGun Posted July 27, 2019 Posted July 27, 2019 i would assume the skin/weight painting got messed up, that or the Vertical ordering dose not match between the _0 mesh and the _1 mesh. Â also i suck at dealing with weight slider enabled meshes as well, and i get the feeling that 3dsmax is the reason.
myuhinny Posted July 27, 2019 Posted July 27, 2019 Sometimes outfit studios doesn't play well with other tools. When you loaded the mesh into 3d max did you export the file pieces from outfit studios in .OBJ format and then load them into 3d max or did you load the nif into 3d max? If you exported the nif into it try just exporting each piece out of outfit studios in .OBJ format then load them into 3d max to edit mesh. Once done close outfit studios restart it and select start new project - load nif file - delete out old unedited mesh and then load each .OBJ file into outfit studios using the load file option and once they are all in go to the bone tab and select bone nodes and then go to shape and copy selected weight and then transfer selected weights and then export mesh. After that you'll have to redo the texture pathways for the outfit pieces.

Cheers for the detailed reply btw
