homophobic custom trait?

hello this is for awareness only, and was wondering if someone made a trait or if someone can

The best that one could do for now is to have a sim start a fight with a specific gay sim then declare them a sworn enemy. Then again, that wouldn't could as a 'phobia of any kind. The Heckings are the most obvious ones to keep in mind were you to go through with it.

It is relatively easy to make a trait that causes a positive or negative reaction based upon sim age or gender but tracking sexuality would be almost impossible unless one were to use Wicked Whims sex stats as a trigger for the negative reaction.

Could use the base game code to copy how 'Hates Children' works.  Or make two new traits; Hates Women, Hates Men.  That way any Sims with the same gender would not want to be around them.  Basing one on sexuality would be tough without the code for Wicked Whims.  Good luck getting that.

Like every other skill? It is meant to be friendlier the S4PE or S4S, but you gotta be familiar with ts4 trait's internal structure/functions. Also FauxFurry did mention there might not currently exist an easy way to access sim gender preference data in the vanilla game or without specialized tools.

 

But do give it a shot and keep looking for it, could eventually pop into existence.

The Homophobic trait doesn't seem to do anything other than fix a character's sexuality to Straight. Maybe it requires the Sexual Orientation mod to be updated and for the designated 'Homophobe' to be present at am Pride Parade or a Coming Out Party?

Kind of,sort of. Little Miss Sam's Gender and More Lot Traits can be used to filter out specific genders, making it perfect for gay bars, women-only gyms and such.

If you ever change your mind about that and still want to make a homophobic trait more in line to what you picture, you could ask at deaderpool's discord for guidance, since his mod, MCCC, somehow can factor sims' gender preference into the mods RNG calculations, might be it's a custom inyector or they figured a way to get that data from the game.

do you know how you would go about making a mod that uses another mod as a trigger, i have wicked whims downloaded and i think it would be a good idea to make the trait triggered by a sims attractiveness preferences
