Are there any mods to make my Khajiit had a bobtail? not like tailless, but with a little nub of a tail

The tail size is in the skeleton. If you create a custom race, its easy to edit the tail.

True, if you have not opened nifscope sometime, it can be difficult. Took me a good while before I found which bones you can change. ?

Hee, that would be a great thing, if you know, how it works then that would be a job for you. 
I would after 4 years break, Skyrim play again, but this short tail should be compatible with all body types.
I have namely stopped playing * Skyrim * because is for my body type gave nothing more.

Extract the nif or tail parts. You may need to do some extra stuff, unless you want to use the full mod.

Sorry, this was in the description. "A short tail is not included, it does not work well, have bad UV mapping."

 

I'll consider making an optional one for my mod "Khajiit Overhaul" in a future update. In the meantime, I guess you can ask that author for the file.

it is good, that you have clarified the thing with the tail.
this mod was created on 17 June 2018 and until today there is no short tail.
I told the mod author, that his pictures is Scam to the users and it would be better to present pictures with a long tail.
for this reason has the author me blocked at that time.

I'm acquainted with him. That tail mesh might be one of my failed meshes from long ago, or was from another mod. I think he may have used it from a mod that came from somewhere else that had different UVs from the original khajiit UVs judging how low the polycount looks. Pretty sure it's the same one he gave to me as reference. I either have it lost somewhere or may have deleted it.

You may be able to use the tail from this mod, if you don't mind it being more rabbit shaped.

I've recently downloaded skyrim creation kit and nifskope and I'm trying my hand at trying to dock the tail. All efforts thus far have failed, but I'm trying...
