What's the problem?

@procian and @RUASim21 As Wickedassistant said. These two lines followed by one another are usually do to baby shower mods. Usually the one by Brittpinkie(sp?) Just an FYI.

Yep, you're super helpful and @procian as well. I'm learning to read the LE's better. Its hard keeping up with all the mods out there.

All of us are still learning lol. As the game changes, so do mods and the coding.

 

But yeah, it can be a bit daunting at first but just like anything else the more you do it the easier it becomes. Just keep at it and you will start seeing the same errors in alot of LE's until eventually you get a point you can spot them almost immediately. 

 

For instance, you will see alot of errors coming from the same popular mods from creators such as; Sacrificial, Turbo, Nisa, LittleMsSam, Basemental, KawaiiStacie, Ksuihuh, TwistedMexi, Roburky, weerbusu, Scumbumbo and so I suggest getting familiar with these first.

 

Like I was telling procian last night in another thread, recognizing the abbreviation can help you alot in spotting the troubled mod.

 

Since I'm already heading down a rabbithole with this post, I may as well finish it off with a basic point of reference that you, procian and others can use to help identify a problem.

 

---Turbo's WW mod = "Module not found" or something like  "sims4.tuning.instances.TURBODRIVER:WickedWhims_Start_NPC_Sex_Random"

is usually because the user is running a outdated game &/or installed the mod wrong.

 

---Nisa's mod is dependent on both Basemental and Turbo's mod so it's pretty easy to spot.

 

---LittleMsSam/KawaiiStacie mod errors vary because both creators maintain so many mods but you can usually spot their script mods pretty easily as neither use any abbreviations and instead use direct names. They will say "littlemssam" and "KawaiiStacie". Furthermore, when it comes to LMS mods, she uses SFS (simfileshare) to upload here mods and lately SFS has been messed up so she has been putting them Google drive. So whenever I see a error related her mods I try to let the person know to download the update from google drive and not SFS.

 

---Sac's mods use abbreviations but are still easy to tell for the most part.

HUI is Hoe It Up

RTF is Road To Fame

EV is Extreme Violence (or sometimes Torture mod)

THM is The Haunted Mirror (or sometimes the other deadly mirror mod)

 

---Basemental Mods are usually pretty self explanatory as well. You you will see BS or something along those lines.

 

---"Posture" errors for the MOST PART are usually just base game routing errors. Meaning a sim was not able to reach the object or go to a spot they were trying to get to. You will generally only see this appear one time in a LE and this usually happens with house/lots built using the moveobjects cheat. So I tell them to rearrange the furniture/objects depending on the error.

 

The same can be said for errors such as: Element (KeyError: 'get_joint_transform_from_rig: Joint name [(null)] 

 

---'SimsSuperA' errors are usually the very old broken Wicked job mods by Jens(sp?) that people seem to still download and install for no other reason other than NOT reading!!!

 

---Errors like <object_lightWallKid_01_Monster_Deterent are usually related the "monster under the bed" feature in the base game. This usually happens when someone is using a CC bed.

 

---Errors such as <desyncdata>Exception raised while trying to run a test event in test_events.py: (IndexError: list assignment index (0) out of range are usually due to ghosts on the lot or the broken family aspiration

 

I could go on and on. Point is, you will get it eventually the more you see it. Feel free to use this as a starting point and move on from there. Good luck and thank you and @procian for your contributions.
