wherewulf028 Posted June 25, 2019 Posted June 25, 2019 First and foremost, thank you for reading this. Second of all, all of the sexlab mods are working correctly. Now that those are out of the way, can someone look at my load order and tell me which of these mods could be controlling the immortality of my followers? I'm trying to use the mod "volatile followers" to make my companions die during my adventures, but it seems somewhere between recruitment and battle, one of the sexlab mods kicks in and makes them immortal. I know this, because I spent the last few hours recruiting every follower and killing them immediately in the console, to make sure they die. They all did. BUT, of I take one into any battle, they cannot die to anything. There are quite a few mods that govern followers in my list, and I've tested (I believe) all of them that have options to disable followers death, by disabling the option, to no avail. Let me reiterate, every single sexlab mod works flawlessly, it's just one is making my followers immortal and I just can't have that. Seeing as I'm not having any crashing, or errors, I'm not posting any logs, but if it's truly necessary, I will. I read the FAQ, I searched for my problem, nothing in either of those seems to apply. Before anyone says it, yes, volatile followers is active, it's merely been cut off from the image. It's the last in the load order. I'd appreciate any help, even if you must insult my intelligence while helping. Thank you.

My old eyes can't read your load order. Would you please go to LOOT and press the icon in the upper right hand corner that looks like 3 vertical buttons or dots (it's on the blue bar). That will copy your load order onto your clipboard. Then, come back here and, in another post, open a spoiler (the icon at the top that looks like an eye - just to the right of the quotes). Then paste the clipboard contents into it so that I will be able to read them.

I'm currently at work and only had the screen shot that I cobbled together available because I've been trying to figure this out on my own time for the past few days. I had typed out the entire screenshot with proper formatting (on my phone, mind you) when I hit post only for my network to go the way of the dodo. I apologize for making you wait, and as soon as I can I will post the information in a proper spoiler plain text. I probably shouldn't waste another workday trying to troubleshoot my pornographic Skyrim woes anyhow

Next time when you have ascertained that your NPC is killable save the game so that you can come back to it there. Then take your NPC into action and see if s/he dies. If not, go back to the save and start things the way you did before. Then, prior to entering combat, open the console and click on your NPC. Among the information available on that screen, on the right hand side about halfway down is something to the effect of "last mod that changed this NPC." Look at that and make your self a note. Go into combat and make sure they still don't die. The mod you noted is most likely your culprit. Good luck!
Visio Diaboli Posted June 25, 2019 Posted June 25, 2019 First one I would look at is EFF, as it has a setting to actually make your followers essential. Other than that I would look at Defeat trying to put them in knockdown scenes, and maybe disable player defeat momentarily to determine if that could be doing it.

So, I did this, and actually got a result of several different mods triggering, the last of which was defeat as suggested by vitalis881 11 hours ago, vitalis881 said: First one I would look at is EFF, as it has a setting to actually make your followers essential. You were correct in it being defeat, it seems defeat when active put these followers in a reflagged immortal state. Seems to trigger even if you disable all options regarding npc knockdown as well. Which really sucks, cause I'll have to disable defeat completely. I appreciate both of your helps in this matter, and I apologise for what was solved in about an hour taking 12 hours to be discussed. Edit: also found out that the prostitution mods make followers immortal, but that goes away when they are no longer on the clock.
