You need Nisa's hotfix available from her WP download page....install exactly as instructed.

Nisa's WW hotfix is working....I use it with no problems.

I second @procian, I am using it and its fine as long as you install as instructed. You may get an LE, but you can find it and see what the issue is using the LE Assistant. I had a problem because I had birth control saved in my sims inventory, but once I deleted it, it was fine and no more LE. I can still use everything, it was just that one item was there prior to update.

It's considered broken because it's not working for everyone. Especially mac users.
