Some DD not equipping

Hello,

I've made a fresh reinstall of the game and took the opportunity to try Vortex as mod manager (pretty good once you've disabled every automated action you can).

I've met a problem after installing DD though : some very specific devices... simply don't work. Activating the inventory item doesn't link to the equip script, and other mods can't equip those faulty devices either.
This only concerns generic DDs and not mod-added DDs (ex : DCL-unique items work fine)

Devices in question are :

-collars (harnesses work fine)

-mittens

-dresses/catsuits (jackets do work because they're armbinders)

-chastity bras

-arm cuffs

-leg cuffs

 

What I have done for now (on a brand new game of course):

-checked files overrides through vortex

-manually reinstalled every DDa/DDi/DDx script to make sure they're fine

-noticed some scriptinstance bloat with ReSaver, linked to the not-functionning devices. (meaning dozens/a hundred scriptinstance duplicate, probably from me slicking multiple times to equip the thing). Cleaning it and trying again had no effect.

 

Any idea what might have caused this/how to fix?

I think i noticed that kind of behavior with some ZAP restraints (all "zbf..."). Make sure that what you are trying on are from DD, if it's like i suspect, found and given from console. And since you went full manual with the installs, it's possible you did something we can't think of. That is also quite massive list of mods to be just something you first start and test with

I do add bit by bit, and it's also a carbon copy from the previous install -which didn't have the problem-. I did follow my previous install order pretty strenuously, only allowing Vortex to LOOT the thing however it liked in the end (and after giving him a few rules for compatibility).

The "manual install" was comprised of the scripts only; can't go wrong with those as there are no conditionals. I only did it after noticing the problem to make sure the error wasn't there. My DD suite is up-to-date, i'll try and see if it's from ZAP by reinstalling that.

 

Items weren't taken from the console directly, i used AdditemMenu to get DDx items.

 

EDIT : guess i'll get away from skyrim a few days and uninstall every zap/dd mod, then re-try -once again- one by one...

Fixed. Install was fine.

 

I fucked up my bashed patch.
