Sexlab Dirty Talk SSE - Gay Edition

View File

This is a port of Sexlab Dirty Talk altered to work with gay men. Dialogue has been changed to reflect male anatomy, and minor script edits were made. This mod can be used in other situations, but the dialogue will be out of place.

Requirements:

SexLab

Fuz Ro D-oh is highly recommended.

Make sure System / Settings / Dialogue Subtitles is toggled on in-game.

CREDITS:

Sexlab Dirty Talk was originally made by Hugh Reckum, credit for the original mod goes to him.

Will this work with LE as well?

Unsure. The mod is all scripts & dialogue, and those don't differ between versions. However, the esp is saved in Form 44, so there's a possibility that Skyrim LE won't be able to parse it.

It should be fairly simple to apply my changes to the LE version. Replace the SEQ file and the ASDPlayerAliasScript in the original mod with the files from this one, and it should work.

I did as you said and overwrote the SEQ and ASDPlayerAliasScript files but the dialog isn't appearing.

Edit: Okay, it's appearing for scenes with the player as the victim triggered through Defeat (though this might be native to Defeat, I don't know). But using Matchmaker or PAHE doesn't seem to be working.

Ok, I'll take a look at the script when I get the chance. Have you tried looking in the original mod thread for solutions? It looks like there were some people who had similar issues with the original file. I didn't change the scripting much, the only change is that it looks at the player's position in sex rather than gender to determine what type of line is used.

Some fixes they discussed were using this mod on a new game, and manipulating it's position in the load order to ensure it's not getting crowded out by other scripts. Nothing about PAHE. The mod author claims Matchmaker works, other comments claim it doesn't, so it might be a load order issue that causes this.

So, putting it higher in the load order helped, (thanks btw) but I still can't get it to trigger when the player is on top.

You might need to use TES5Edit to create a new SEQ file. Load up the mod in xEdit and right click->other->create SEQ file. If that doesn't work, then it's a script issue.

I did that and it still won't trigger when the player is on top. I don't understand why it isn't working. Do I have to move it up even higher on the load order? Does it work for you? Maybe it's because I'm using LE. How do I fix this script issue?

The mod won't trigger at all? Or is the NPC saying the top dialogues instead of the bottom ones? Is the issue still with PAHE and Matchmaker?

It won't trigger at all when the player is on top, but it triggers just fine when the player is on bottom. Matchmaker and PAHE don't seem to affect it any differently.

Ok, just tested it again in SE. Works fine on top when triggered by PAHE and Defeat. Wasn't triggering on oral scenes, but I assume that's intentional. If it's working on the bottom in LE, it should work on the top, as the original mod was completely incompatible with both homosexual sex and male victims.

The scripts use the base sexlab functions, it's a very simple, IS/IS-not check that determines whether a player is top or bottom, and dialogue should play following from that. The only thing I can think of would be that you're using a version of sexlab that's changed the functions from the SE version.

I would suggest you continue work with your load order , or see if you have some mod that only triggers when the player is on top. I can't really do much for you on the scripting side of things, because I can't reproduce the bug.

Can you post your load order here?

This version is the regular Dirty Talk, no homo.  It says it's SSE compatible.

Ahh, you gotta love straight dudes and their fragile ego ?

Naw, I get it.  I don't wanna hear straight sex talk in my game.  Why should we expect them to want to listen to gay sex talk?  :D

why do they keep updating skyrim. has anyone ported this for the AE version?

I don't get anything in MCM when I install it and no dialog options come up for me.

Wonder if it would be easy to port.
