They only record everything leading up to the crash. If you try Papyrus Logging, turn it off when you're done using them. It's not good for the game, and can cause crashing itself. You mentioned mods. I suggest deactivating them and seeing if your Skyrim will boot. Usually when you have insta-CTDs it has something to do with missing Masters. Do you have every mod you need to make your mods work? Double check your masters. If they check out, deactivate a large swath of mods. Does you Skyrim boot correctly? Then you know the problem lies within said swath. Rinse and repeat with that swath until you find the one (or two) culprits. Also, I think we have a tech' support forum here.
Grey Cloud Posted June 11, 2019 Posted June 11, 2019 Papyrus wont help. 1. This is tech support for LE. SE has its own section. 2. CTD on start up/load is usually either missing masters or too many animations. Your mod manager, LOOT and Crash Fixes should let you know if it is missing masters. FNIS will tell you how many animations you have. There is no hard and fast number but usually anything over 10K with regular FNIS and 12K with FNIS XXL and you are in the danger zone. Figures might be different with SE.
Middle_aged_dragon Posted June 11, 2019 Author Posted June 11, 2019 Thank's for the reply's i just rolled back the mods so i can play. sorry again for bugging everyone with this

It's helped me find the causes of a lot of problems. 8 hours ago, Nretsmah said: kinda wanna find out why it crashes on startup, like when i load a save or start a new save, kicks me back to desktop. the most effective way of finding the culprit is unfortunately the one that also takes the most time and effort, and that's disabling them one by one. 8 hours ago, Nretsmah said: Usually when you have insta-CTDs it has something to do with missing Masters. Do you have every mod you need to make your mods work? That is 99% the cause, and I only say 99% because there are some instances that it has not been the cause. Make sure every single mod you have also has its dependency loaded - i.e. ESM files or other mods needed. LOOT (loot.github.io) will tell you if you're missing any. 2 hours ago, Grey Cloud said: FNIS will tell you how many animations you have. I can't imagine coming close to those numbers. I have a LOT of animation mods (like 15 SLAL packs, creature packs for everything, etc) and I'm using FNIS PCEA2 and I'm only at about 3000 animations. This brings me to another thing that bothers me about modding - if you are maxxing out your load order or running into animation count limits you SERIOUSLY need to re-evaluate your entire life because spending that much time and effort on a game points to a lot of underlying mental problems you might want to get looked at.

Either you have removed lots of animations from those packs or you have them installed incorrectly. I doubt if I have 15 SLAL packs but packs such as Billyy's can do 2000 +/- animations. Exactly how much time and effort does it take to have 10-15K animations? Hitting 255 plug-ins is relatively easy to do. EDIT: Just checked 8314 animations for 31 mods successfully included (character). 2550 animations for 10 mods and 45 creatures successfully included.. I usually have about 13.5K total which is about the max my game will handle.

I find that if I get past 115 plugins or so I end up with a lot of content that just ends up unused/unplayed. Or I play with it for 15 minutes and move on with my playthrough.

I mean that i uninstalled the recent mods of which i updated and went back to previous versions, i know it's a bad thing to do, as i'm definitely going to need to update soon, but for now it works, will check the mods one by one when i get out of hospital, sorry i wasn't clear.
Grey Cloud Posted June 12, 2019 Posted June 12, 2019 Given that you are using SE, you might want to double-check that you have the mods for SE and not LE.
