Heh, I know how that feels. I've lost looots of progress a few times now. . . that's why I find myself saving excessively offline/online, and one reason why I give free-modding permission on my work. I hope that if somehow I lost all of my back-ups, someone on Lover's Lab would be willing to send me a copy or two ya know? I'm still converting armor to clothes, but I got a little side-tracked today. I'm updating CISCore (my Circulated in Skyrim core files) with custom enchantments, which I plan on using in this mod. I want to the first release of this mod to depend on CISCore, so I don't ruffle any feathers when it inevitably requires CISCore. I tried that script out you showed me, the one that adds crafting recipes. While I'll have to manually adjust each one, just having them will save me so much time. Thanks for showing me that TES5Edit scripts are a thing.
DatWombat Posted June 2, 2019 Author Posted June 2, 2019 Mod Update I feel like I've been slaving away at this mod since, well Thursday. My fingers and wrist are starting to get tired, but I've certainly made some good progress. Today I actually work on two mods, CISCore, and of course, The Luxury Collection CIS. First, let's talk about what's going on with the Luxury Collection. I have renamed Editor IDs in the Luxury Collection. I did so for ease of reading and in anticipation for adding new Luxury item variants. A mod this massive demands careful organization. I have also converted (most) of the Luxury Collection into clothes. I haven't finished rebalancing gear, but (most) of the Luxury Collection is now treated as clothes in Skyrim. Armor values are being turned to zero, and gold values between one and two percent of the originals. Don't worry, for those of you who want to wear Luxury items as armor, I'm planning for that too. I want to remove the "LUX" prefix on all gear added by this mod, and I still got rebalancing to do. I hope to finish rebalancing by the end of the night, so I can move onto NPCs and Leveled Lists. I've also made everything craftable. . . but I need to readjust every record. I used a script to save me some time, but there's hand work to be done. Now let's talk about CISCore. I plan on releasing a new version. . . one of these days. I've added a series of custom enchantments, which are basicly weaker versions of vanilla enchantments. Because the Luxury Collection occupies less Armor Slots than vanilla gear, I've found it necessary to use weaker enchantments to compensate. I've also started experimenting with (basic) custom enchantments. I might introduce them in the Luxury Collection CIS. I know it might not sound like much, but I've been spending hour-after-hour on this mod. It takes longer than you'd think. Mod Update *Important* Long-story-short, Creation Kit is giving me trouble. For some reason, it refuses to load my .esp, which TES5Edit has no problem loading. No Creation Kit means no new NPCs, so I'm not sure what I'm gonna do. I've been trying to troubleshoot the problem for a few hours now. I really dislike Creation Kit. Mod Update *Important* I got the issue sorted out. . . sort of. For some strange reason, Creation Kit just doesn't like my LuxuryCollectionCIS.esp. It has no problem with any other CIS patch I've made, so I dunno what was wrong with this one. . . I made it just the same as the rest, although I did use an updated xEdit. But still, I know xEdit isn't the problem. At least, I don't think. Other patches I've made and edited using xEdit boot just fine in Creation Kit. I went through my library of backups to see what change I made could have made Creation Kit screw around. My latest revision of LuxuryCollectionCIS was on June 1st, but the latest version that would work in Creation Kit was May 27th. I've made some huge developmental strides since the 28th, so I was not willing to start fresh. At that point, I'd rather just not have NPCs in the LuxuryCollectionCIS. The difference between LuxuryCollectionCIS (May 27th) and LuxuryCollectionCIS (May 28th) was minor. It was at that time I started renaming Editor IDs but I sincerely doubt it was Editor IDs which caused the issue. They've never given me issues before, and I verified that using my new-version of xEdit and a new .esp based on the Luxury Collection. Hour after hour of troubleshooting would not fix my esp (so that it would load into Creation Kit). But, I did find a compromise. It's a little set-back, but much less of one than it would have been to start back with a May 27th backup. Basicly, I just made a new esp containing my modified Luxury Collection armor overrides (modified versions of Luxury items with differing Keywords, stats and Editor IDs). It booted into Creation Kit just fine, and I made a new NPC and fixed the grey-face error on her. Mission success, but it came at a price. I will have to redo my leveled lists, crafting recipes and an Outfit. But considering half of that was done with a script and the other is just two-four hours of copy/pasting, I think I'm in good shape. I fixed the problem, but I've taken a step back in regards to progress. I was hoping to make a big developmental leap today, but I'm skeptical. I think today will just be recovering lost data.
DatWombat Posted June 4, 2019 Author Posted June 4, 2019 Mod Update I haven't made a ton of progress recently. I've spent that past few days dicking around in Creation Kit and in-game, learning new things and updating multiple CIS mods at once. The Luxury Collection CIS I've been collaborating with @Ohyes in regards to the "inviso-body" bug I've encountered. For those of you out of the loop, this bug occurs when male NPCs are equipped with the Luxury Collection, which are strictly female-only. When equipped with this gear, portions of their body go invisible. They have offered me a lot of good feedback in regards to the bug, and I hope to fix it before an initial release. I've decided to upload two versions of the Luxury Collection CIS. One will only distribute Luxury items into lootable-objects (and some NPCs), while the other will add Luxury items to NPC inventories to be equipped, male or female. This version will be beneficial if you run a female-only Skyrim, or if you don't mind males wearing place-holder armor in place of Luxury items. I've also been experimenting with the Luxury Collection in-game, and trying to see what items look best with which vanilla-gear. Once I figure that out, I'll know where to distribute said Luxury items in-game. CISNPCs (New mod, WIP) I think I'm gonna do it. I think. I might bring it up with the community, and I know there's already plenty of NPC mods out there, but hear me out. As you may suspect, CISNPC would add new NPCs to your game. Nothing unique, just generic baddies like Bandits and Necromancers. It will be standalone, although dependent on CISCore. The advantages of CISNPCs are as follows - CISNPCs would use only vanilla heads, built using vanilla sliders and racemenu. That means they should look good in anyone's game, and work for people without body mods. CISNPCs would use gender-specific leveled lists, preventing the need for "placeholder" armor and eliminating inviso-bodies all together. In addition, those leveled lists would also use CIS content, allowing the new NPCs to use anything managed by CIS and vanilla items. CISNPCs would use vanilla NPC templates and scripts, meaning anything that overhauls NPCs should work just fine with this mod. And of course, CISNPCs would add a boatload of new NPCs to your game. Who doesn't like new NPCs? As I mentioned, I've spent a lot of time screwing with Creation Kit. Well after hours of trial and error, I figured out how to properly make Leveled NPCs. While I don't plan on doing a lot of updates on this mod, I have started it, so I'd have pretty Bandit girls to showcase the effects of the Luxury Collection CIS. CISCore In preparation of CISNPCs, I've started to add new standalone, gender-specific leveled lists to CISCore. They will only be used by CISNPCs. If you decided to install CISNPCs (hypotthetically speaking), these leveled lists would be called upon and inserted into CIS NPC inventories. Otherwise, they will simply take up space (a few KB), and do nothing. I repeat, CISNPCs will not be a requirement. I will simply store core CISNPC files in CISCore. In addition, I've also added enchantments to CISCore. I don't recall if I've mentioned this already, but if so I guess I"ll say it again. These enchantments are intended for use in all CIS patches which add armor that doesn't use the usual Armor Slots, but I won't guarantee my initial release of the Luxury Collection CIS will use them. I've been working on stuff, and talking about stuff. But mostly learning about stuff, and fixing broken files. I've made my fair share of those things. Damn you Creation Kit!
DatWombat Posted June 4, 2019 Author Posted June 4, 2019 I've taken a few screenshots to show what's up. What you see are is CISNPC in action, in all of its seven NPC glory. . . it beats cloning Aela the Huntress thirty times don't it? What you see are the following (armor) mods working together (in no particular order) - Sexy Vanilla Armor Girls Heavy Armor The Luxury Collection The Book of UUNP CISCore CISNPC The Book of UUNP CIS Girls Heavy Armor CIS Sexy Vanilla Armor CIS The Luxury Collection CIS (WIP) Notice the Luxury Collection gear? I thought the Amore Lingerie looked good with Fur Armor, but I could be wrong. It's rather hard to blend the bright, delicate scheme of the Luxury Collection with gritty, vanilla gear. But uh, it's progress ain't it? I apologize for the poor screenshot quality, I actually play my Skyrim at half-resolution. I do so to maintain a stupid amount of FPS (so I can get away with spawning 30 NPCs at once with a ridiculous amount of Leveled gear), and to ease the strain on my GPU and heat-prone Alienware. I'm sure for final release, I'll jack up my resolution and get some higher-end shots.
DatWombat Posted June 5, 2019 Author Posted June 5, 2019 Hey everyone, I've got some great news. @Ohyes and I figured out a solution to the male "inviso-body" bug. As @Varithina and I first suspected, it did have something to do with Armor Slots. In a nutshell, I just needed to make Luxury items use the same Armor Slots (and enabling "weight sliders") as vanilla gear, thereby eliminating the bug. But, the solution isn't perfect. It would force the Luxury Collection to be equipped and managed like the vanilla armor system, instead of the boots/stockings/panty/corset/boots/horns/wings/skirt system. On the brighter side, treating the Luxury Collection like vanilla Armor with significantly reduce strain on Skyrim, as it will mean less Leveled List overloading. What I might have to do is convert the Luxury Collection into a helmet/cuirass/boots/gauntlets system. Here's my idea - I will make two versions of each Luxury Item, one for "armor" and NPCs (which will be distributed to Skyrim's population in one version of the .esp), and the other a "clothes" version, which will be found in loot and craftable by the player. The "clothes version" will use default body slots, and the "armor version" modified body slots to make them safe to equip to males. Definitely a breakthrough, and I'm already getting on it. I have to modify a hecka lot of Armor Addons, and make a bunch of new Armors. I got my work cut out for me, but I'm not really up to workin' tonight. Maybe I'll dick around with something, we'll see. I wish I had some Mountain Dew right about now. A combination of thirteen hours on my feet (mostly working) and feelin' outright shaken-up make me feel. . . unproductive. Ever hear a song that makes your insides go squishy?
DatWombat Posted June 6, 2019 Author Posted June 6, 2019 Mod Update I still got work to do, but I'm starting to reach sort of an "end point" in regards to what needs done. I hope to have this mod really for an initial release by Monday, but we'll see. Assuming I am not called-in to work during the weekend, I should be able to sink another twenty to thirty hours into this mod, and hopefully have it ready. So far, I'm about uh, at least forty hours, but I reckon more around 50 hours. This mod has taken me more time than my Sexy Vanilla Armor mod, due to the extensive amount of armor added by the Luxury Collection, and the immense number of new resources I have needed to hand-make. There's also troubleshooting and testing and planning, those all take time. Prefixes I've been removing the "LUX" prefix from all Luxury items. I just get bothered when mods add prefixes to in-game items. It's nice for console commands, but with this mod (hopefully) you won't need them. Armor Addons To deal with the inviso-body bug, I have been making two versions of everything. One version is female-only, and the other both-gendered. If a female-only Luxury item is equipped to a male character, you will get inviso-bodies. Each male/female Luxury Item requires a new Armor Addon, and these take time to make. I have a lot to do, and I've just gotten started. Armor Rating Some Luxury items will have armor, some won't. NPCs will equip armored versions, and you can craft/loot unarmored and enchanted versions. I am working on multiple versions of Luxury gear for this reason. Who gets what I'm also mixing and matching Luxury items with Vanilla gear, to get a feel for what looks good together. With this knowledge, I'm putting Luxury Items where I feel they'd mesh best with Vanilla items. Included are a few screenshots of how the mod's comin' along. What you see are CIS NPCs wearing a variety of armors across many mods, including this one.
DatWombat Posted June 8, 2019 Author Posted June 8, 2019 Mod Update I was so tired today, I just didn't do a whole lot. I haven't been doing a whole lot with this mod in general it seems, but I have gotten just a little side-tracked. I've been working on a few other Skyrim mods, and I've been learning how to mod a game called Staxel. There's no nude mod for it, and I bought an expensive piece of software to make a nude mod for it. I learned how to mod the game and made a quick nude mod. I don't like playing games without gratuitous nudity, and I have to make it happen I'll make it happen dammit! But I'm back-on-track now. Let's uh, talk about what sort of things I've been up to. If you're reading this, that's probably what you want to know eh? Luxury Collection CIS I've continued to remove the "LUX" prefix from Luxury items. Basically, the orginal author decided to add the letters "LUX" to every item added by The Luxury Collection, likely to make them easier to locate when adding them via Console Commands. Because this mod will be adding them all around Skyrim, I don't think the "LUX" prefix is needed anymore. I've moved the "LUX" prefix to Editor IDs, to distinguish Luxury Items from other items while modding. I have also been creating two versions of many Luxury Collection items, one "equipable" by male NPCs and the other female-only. This process requires that create new Armor Addons and new Editor IDs and new Leveled Lists, so this process is going rather slow. I don't plan on using "male-equipable" Luxury items in my game, so consider these a token of my love to y'alls. They are tedious to make and useless to my Skyrim installation. In an effort to improve NPC-spawn/loading times, I have also been optimizing the Leveled Lists I have and reducing how many go into each NPC. What this will mean for you (the user) is some Luxury items will only be found on some types of NPCs, and some only on others. I also plan on adding level restrictions to some gear (as in, some won't spawn until later levels) to again ease the stress of loading NPCs with lots of Leveled Lists. On the plus side, it'll help keep the Luxury Collection fresh in your game, as over time you'll see more and more of it in-game. CISNPCs I added some new NPCs, becuase I thought seven faces wasn't enough for my screenshots. Now I have eleven. I've included two images to uh, represent "progress". I've added more gear to the loot-pool, and I'm getting a between idea of who looks better in what. I think I'm going to reserve corsets for vampires, and dainty-tops for mages. The Bandits can keep the lace-bodysuits, and there's plenty of high-heels for everyone.

Have a look here, https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/49373 One of the scripts in there is supposed to be able to remove prefixs, or add them or quite a few bits and pieces, to be honest though I never managed to get it to work for me, you might have better luck with it.

Well crap on a cracker, that sure saved me some time. I got it to work, and I probably just shaved an hour or two of mod production. Heck yeah! That means more time focusing on actual circulation in Skyrim. Thank you! I'm gonna have to use this script on my Sexy Vanilla Armors CIS, to get rid of that "Sexy" prefix everything has. I've been putting it off because of how much time it'd take, but I could do it in under an hour now!
DatWombat Posted June 10, 2019 Author Posted June 10, 2019 Mod Update I really wish I could have done a lot more on this recently, but I've been slammed with work this week. I'm talkin' eleven to twelve hour work days, and getting called-into work (or asked to stay late) every-other-day. I'm hecka tired, and I've got more work waiting for me tomorrow morning. It's hard to find time to mod after 40+hours of work, and it's harder to stay motivated. But anywho, let's talk about what I've been up to. One reason why progress has slowed down with Luxury Collection CIS is because I'm actually building three mods at the same time, CISCore, CISNPCs and of course, Luxury Collection CIS. You might wonder why, and I have my reasons. In a nutshell, the things I'm doing with Luxury Collection CIS happen to be things that need to be done to the two other mods I've listed. I've been adding Luxury Items to NPC inventories, and doing so requires me to dig around Skyrim.esm and find which Leveled Lists I need to modify. CISNPCs needs custom (gender-specific) Leveled Lists that are strictly based off-of vanilla Leveled Lists, so I'm killing two birds with one stone here. As I update CISNPCs, I am also updating CISCore, with more core files intended for CISNPCs. In addition, I am using CISNPCs to run controlled tests with the Luxury Collection CIS. They make it very quick and easy to test my Luxury Collection Leveled Lists, and find out (in a controlled setting) how they interact with non-Luxury Collection CIS Leveled Lists. I will release a new version of CISCore and Luxury Collection at the same time. However, CISNPCs will see a delayed release, due to the work that would need put in, and a lack of demand (so it seems). All Luxury Collection items have been renamed, and I've put off making them craftable. I can make them craftable using some scripts, so I'm not worried about that. I'm adding the Luxury Collection to Leveled Lists, and trying to get an idea of who gets what. This process is not particularly technical, it's more an opinionated process. . . which takes some time. I'm trying to balance the amount of Luxury Items that spawn alongside vanilla items. For my CISNPCs, Luxury items are spawning hmm. . . about one for every two or three vanilla items, I think. It doesn't seem that way when I spawn the girls, but I didn't do very many trial runs. I sort of just did one. When combined with other CIS mods, Luxury Collection items will be much rarer. But to be honest, I kind of like that. It will make lingerie something special, a seldom-seen sight on the baddies of Skyrim. With how much crap this mod will add, you'll be able to spend hours and hours and hours looking for everything it adds. Heck, maybe days. I've included two images. In one, it depicts a vampire in a corset doin' some magic. In the other, another demonstration of CISNPCs and Luxury Collection CIS, and an example of spawn rates.
DatWombat Posted June 12, 2019 Author Posted June 12, 2019 Mod Update So I got good news and bad news. Let's uh, talk abut the good news. The good news is that progress has been going great, despite my job suddenly going from part-time to full-time. I've been hitting up a whole bunch of vanilla Leveled Lists, and I currently have Bandits and Vampires (CISNPC and vanilla) spawning with Luxury items. I will be moving onto Forsworn and Mages/Warlocks, and then consider lootable objects. While I'm still a-ways from finishing this mod, I've come a loooong way since I first started. I'd venture to say that I could release this mod now, but it needs a lot of work before I'd be willing to stand behind a release. I'd say it's sort of in an alpha-status, and moving into beta. Now the bad news. I have a new, unexpected problem. For some strange reason, male NPCs equipped with my (modified) CIS items are naked. They aren't experiancing the inviso-body bug (which is great), but they should be wearing Hide Armor (my placeholder of choice). I don't know what is causing this problem, but I am looking into it. I hope it will be a quick fix. If I can't figure it out, I'll just release this mod with nude male NPCs. I don't mind seein' some chiseled bod's here and there, if you know what I mean. I thought I had another problem with vanilla NPCs not showing up with Luxury gear at all. . . but I was just being stupid. I didn't deactivate my (old) Bashed Patch, which overided Luxury Collection CIS Leveled Lists. Oops! Preemptive Edit I fixed it. It was a quick fix, thankfully. I just needed to specify what mesh to display on non-player Actors. Phew! On a side note, this mod has taken so many flippin' hours. I think this particular mod has taken more hours to build than any other mod I've ever made. I'm pretty confident to say I've invested well over 50 hours into this mod, more than Sexy Vanilla Armor CIS. But on the brighter side, I've learned a lot of new things. I hope y'alls like this thing, there's other projects I'd like to be workin' on if I'm gonna be honest with y'alls. Preemptive Edit It looks like another problem I'm having is broken entries. . . as in, sometimes things just go missing in my .esps. Outfits break, leveled lists turn into new things, I dunno what's goin' on. I think some edits to a certain set of Luxury Items is causing the missing models in-game, something to do with Races. Yep. It had to do with Races. We're good! I spawned some (vanilla) Hunters and took some screenshots. Both the males and females are equipped with Luxury items. No inviso-bodies!
DatWombat Posted June 15, 2019 Author Posted June 15, 2019 Mod Update Progress is great! It feels good to say that, and looking at what I've been up to, I've made some good strides. I haven't been doing as much work on this mod as I'd like, but it's hard to mod when you work 40+ hours a week. Part of the reason why this mod is taking as long as it is compatibility reasons. I plan on releasing two versions of this mods, one that distributes Luxury gear to all NPCs and lootables, and the other only lootables. The main problem with the former-version is that if a male NPC equips Luxury items, they experience the "inviso-body" bug. Preventing the inviso-body bug requires modifying body-slots and meshes. The modifications required make it impossible to equip multiple Luxury items (like panties and corsets and stockings etc), so I've decided to create separate versions (of most) Luxury items. Those separate versions will be distributed to all NPCs, and the other versions made craftable and added to lootables. Unfortunately, this process has been taking a while. I'm doing this for y'alls, I don't care to make two versions of this mod. I'm also in the process of distributing gear to new NPCs. As it stands. . . Bandits, Forsworn, and Vampires can be found (equipped) with Luxury items. A long story short, I can't equip NPCs with panties, because of Armor Slot conflicts. As a compromise, I've included panties a form of loot which can be found or pick-pocketed from NPCs. I think mod completion is coming up, and it feels great. I hope to release this mod by the end of next week, but we'll see. If I get another 40 hour or so week of work, this mod might not see a lot of progress. I've included more screenshots. The first one depicts (vanilla) Forsworn, and the other a (CISNPC) Vampire. Edit I'm considering another rework of CISCore. It would make editing outfits a little easier, and streamline CIS patches even more, boosting production speed. In addition, my proposed rework would help declutter preexisting vanilla leveled lists when multiple CIS mods are installed.

One option you could go with would be to make a custom sublist for each armor type and material, for example SublistArmorGlassBoots, add that to the vanilla lists, and then just add any custom armor that are rated as glass and gloves to the sublist, the annoying thing is I had major amounts of that done when I re-installed and forgot to backup the damn thing, and then found that the esp had not gone into the deleted file bin, so had to start from scratch, done some work for weapons but it is pretty much a total rebuild of weapons level lists, if you are interested in it, you can have a copy of the esp, though the only bit I have done to date is daggers, and I can not even remember if I completed that or not off hand.

Actually, that's exactly how the CIS mods work. CISCore uses sublists in Outfits, but not Leveled Lists. CIS patches modify Leveled Lists individually. My proposed edit would be to migrate a lot of Leveled List edits to CISCore, which would make CIS patches a little quicker to make. And that really sucks, losing that much work just kills my motivation. I've become rather paranoid in regards to backups these days.
DatWombat Posted June 17, 2019 Author Posted June 17, 2019 Mod Update Great progress, but there's still much to do. I keep thinking I'm almost done, but it seems like there's always something else to do. . . my fingers hurt, and I've been modding for heck, at least six or seven hours today. I've been putting some real work in since yesterday. So uh, let's talk about progress and look at some in-game titties eh? CISCore I've been working on a huge update for CISCore, in preparation for Luxury Collection CIS. I've been adding a great deal of standalone CIS Leveled Lists for use by CIS patches. Because Luxury Collection CIS will be adding a great deal of clothing items to Skyrim, I need to add new clothing-related Leveled Lists to CISCore. In addition, I'm prepping CISCore for CISNPCs, which will use similar (but standalone) Leveled Lists to CISCore's. Luxury Collection CIS Since uh, hmm. . . Saturday, I've been getting a lot done. Problem being, there's lots more to do. The recent rework of CISCore put me a few steps back in regards to Luxury Collection CIS loot distributing, but I'm all caught up now. My CISCore rework should speed up production of CIS Patches in the future. However, a small problem has been causing me hours of tedious work. I have a lot of items with missing Additional Races, which dictate which races can be seen (equipped) with items. Each affected item requires 18 to 19 new entries, which takes alot of mouse clicks to fix. And I have several, several-many affected entries. They are extremely tedious to fix, and soak up a lot of time. I'm still fixing them. I'm also making sure my modified Luxury items show up properly on male NPCs using placeholder gear. It's a matter of modifying meshes, Armor Addons, and enabling weight sliders. Takes a while, but it's not nearly as bad as the Race problem. I've included some pictures. I said we're gonna look at titties didn't I? The first image depicts two (CISNPC) bandits. The other image depicts some Janassa on (vanilla) Forsworn fighting-action.
DatWombat Posted June 18, 2019 Author Posted June 18, 2019 Mod Update Again, progress has been pretty solid. I've been really grinding through this mod, and I'm starting to add Luxury stuff to more CIS Leveled Lists. What this translates to is more NPCs being equipped with Luxury stuff. Thanks to my CISCore rework, I've essentially circulated Luxury gear all over Skyrim and across boat-loads of NPCs by just editing a handful of Leveled Lists provided by CISCore. I'm currently still fixing the Additional Race problem I've been having. My fingers are in actual pain, but I'm determined to fix this issue by the end of the night. . . scratch that, it's nearly midnight. By the time I uh. . . sleep? I've done some in-game testing, and results are very promising. I've also included screenshots, and I'm diggin' Skyrim's new fashion styles. Edit Also, I've been double-checking my male NPC placeholders. I don't want anyone else to have to deal with inviso-bodies or major seams.
DatWombat Posted June 19, 2019 Author Posted June 19, 2019 Mod Update Progress is good. I've been putting in even more work, and as of this post I'll have put in another four or five hours into this mod. Can I get payed now? In all seriousness though, things are really looking up. I'm finalizing my male NPC placeholders and deciding who gets to wear what. I'm also making everything (well, most) craftable. This process will take a day or two, but thanks to the power of scripts it will be greatly sped up. Everything in this mod is (now) currently craftable, and all it took was an hour of copy/pasting and script magic. Unfortunately, I will need to hand-adjust the crafting recipes. This will certainly take time, and I'd venture to say a whole day. There's a few (big) handfuls of armor I wasn't sure what to do with, so now that I've figured out what I wanted to do with everything else, it's time to figure out what to do with them. I might just make the craftable and try to figure out what to do with them on a later iteration of Luxury Collection CIS. CISCore has been greatly updated (in response to Luxury Collection CIS) and as a result you will need to install a new version of CISCore to use this mod. While pre-existing CIS patches should be compatible with the new CISCore, I will be updating them after releasing Luxury Collection CIS. I will removing CISNPC support in the first release of Luxury Collection CIS. I will likely remove all CISNPC Leveled Lists from Luxury Collection. With or without these Leveled Lists, it will make no impact on your games. They are standalone and called upon only by CISNPCs, which will be released on a later date and CIS Patches updated to accommodate. CISCore will retain pre-existing CISNPC support, which will be expanded upon on a later date (along with Skyrim DLC support). I've included a few screenshots. In the first one, you will see two (vanilla) forsworn charging at my PC. In the background is the innkeeper, coming to give a helping hand. In the second image, a mage of sorts. Notice the heels? I think they blend in with the outfit quite nicely. I'm at a point with this mod that I'm able to dick around in-game and consider it "testing and debugging". Not gonna lie, this is probably my favorite part. It usually ends up with me watching a few mobs of NPCs duke-it to the death.
DatWombat Posted June 20, 2019 Author Posted June 20, 2019 Mod Update I spent all of today's free-time doing nothing but Craftable Items. Yesterday I made the entire Luxury Collection craftable, but today I worked on the recipes for each item. It was like, 5 or 6 hours in itself. Holy wow, but I think I've got it mostly done. Luxury clothes will be somewhat easy to craft, but you're gonna have to do some serious exploring, shopping or stealing if you want to craft them. Many require miscellaneous items (such as Firewood and Ink Wells) to make, giving some purpose to the clutter out and about Skyrim. Most require one or more alchemical ingredients, which I used for dyes. This mod doesn't add any sort of "dye" items, rather just the ingredients themselves. Luxury Items are made of Leather, Leather Strips, Linen Wraps, and Firewood. They can be "dyed" using Blue/Purple/Red Mountain Flowers, Ink Wells, Hanging Moss, Grass Pods, Slaughterfish Scales, and Lavender. I'd like to make a few adjustments, but that's the gist of it. Oh! And anything with pom-poms uses Tundra Cotton. It will take a lot of items to make any given Luxury item, so don't expect easy crafting. Most of the Luxury Collection can be found on NPCs and lootable objects, but (at the moment) non-restricted Luxury gear (in terms of body slots) must be crafted, and not looted (with the exception of panties and pasties and gloves). NPCs are equipped with modified, uncraftable Luxury gear. It uses more body slots than orginally intended, a necessary measure to prevent inviso-bodies. Be prepared to roam the countryside picking lots of flowers. Lots. I got tomorrow and the day after off, so hopefully I can grind this mod out to a finish before heading back to work on the weekend. We'll see. I haven't gotten everything in the mod that I'd like to have gotten in, but if you ask me it's a damn good start. If I get enough postive reception, I might reopen this mod and expand upon it. I will of course update this mod as needed to correspond to bug fixes, edits, and upgrades. Two screenshots. The first one shows a craftable Luxury Item. The second shoes a blacksmith who I very much approve of heheh. On an unrelated note (to Luxury Collection CIS), I've employed an artist to illustrate "promotional material" for my mods. Expect to see some "original characters" in the coming weeks.
DatWombat Posted June 21, 2019 Author Posted June 21, 2019 Mod Update I did a few refinements to the crafting recipes for Luxury Items, and I fixed a good chunk of Luxury gear to be male-NPC compatible. Overall, I'd say this mod is ready for a sort of beta release. I'm really hoping to have a Luxury Collection CIS v1.0.0 released by the end of the week, but I've also commissioned an artist to draw a preview image for this mod. Speaking of art, my modding team of one has now turned into two. Situated in my proverbial Advertising Department is a mysterious artist who's now on company payroll. By "company", I mean the company of me, which rakes in zero USD a year. Hah! Now let's talk about um, the updates some more. Ah! The artist. I will be uploading this mod when I get a preview image ready. After uploading preview images for the CIS series, my viewership and download rate spiked. With that in mind, I'd like all future mods of mine to come with pretty preview images, and that starts with Luxury Collection CIS. I've also done some work on CISCore. I've performed another major upgrade to CISCore, adding a boatload of new Leveled Lists in preparation for CISNPCs. I've been doing some experimenting tonight, while I've been testing the effects of this mod throughout Skyrim. I'll share my results. Here's the rub. Because of how Luxury Collection CIS works (and CISCore), and to maintain maximum compatibility with other mods, I can't equip male and female NPCs with multi-part armors. For example, the Luxury Collection has a number of items called Corsets. Corsets can be equipped with panties, but due to technical difficulties, I have to pick one or the other. In other words, NPCs either get to wear a Corset, or panties. However, it is possible to make NPCs equip both, but only if said NPCs are guaranteed to be the correct gender (to prevent visual glitches, such as inviso-bodies). This is the case with CISNPCs, which adds only female NPCs. In the first screenshot, you can see a female NPC wearing two pieces of Luxury items on the chest area, a feat I can't do with vanilla NPCs as-is. Again, CISNPCs will not be released in some time. It is in need of major development, that is I need to create hundreds of new NPC faces before I will be ready for an initial release on this mod. But I am happy to know that my experiment was a success. Important As I mentioned, I have been running around Skyrim to measure the effects of this mod. Since added this mod to my load order, I've noticed that my game has become significantly buggier in the following ways - - CTD when loading many new NPCs (such as entering a city for the first time) - Freezing in-game when spawning 40+ NPCs in a city with combat - Slow loading times (when entering a city for the first time) - Slow spawn times (when spawning 15+ NPCs at once) All of this bugs are symptoms of an overloaded Skyrim. However, bear in mind that all of the NPCs tested are female. I run several script-based mods and HDT-related mods that pertain to female NPCs, which causes significant strain on my system in itself. In addition, I run all CIS patches among several other mods. Still, this mod will stain your system if loaded with too many loot mods. I will be releasing Luxury Collection CIS a little early, before adding every feature I wanted to. But I've been working on this damn mod since the 24th (of last month), which means I've been working on this thing for 28 days straight. I can comfortably say it's been 90+ hours of work, and I'd venture to say over 100 at this point. This mod is by far the biggest I've made to date. I'd like to take a break one of these days. In the second screenshot, well I honestly uploaded it just to be consistent. It depicts a (vanilla) NPC standing guard over what seemed to be a. . . sacrifice of sorts.
DatWombat Posted June 23, 2019 Author Posted June 23, 2019 Mod Update I've been working on some refinements so hopefully I won't get any bug reports and the like. CISCore I haven't been doing much work on CISCore since the recent CISNPC-upgrade, but I have been working on CISCore's download page. Much of yesterday's modding time was spent on CISCore's homepage. I believe an informative mod page is imperative to any mod worth its salt. That's why I've probably spent days refining what I have, and I've been tacking on more (with some new artwork from the team). Today was one of those days, and I hope to overhaul all of my mod pages at some point. With Luxury Collection CIS coming around for public release, I want to make sure CISCore's download page is very well-written for new users, and returning old-users of my CIS mods. Luxury Collection CIS I've been double checking. . . well lots of things. Let's start with the prices and armor ratings. There are some items I sort of forgot to adjust, so I'm going through them via xEdit now. It seems a little ridiculous to find clothes worth 1500 gold a pop eh? Or to craft something with Glass-level protection with a few pieces of Leather and Leather Strips? On another note, I'm sort of under-pricing everything. I think with that in mind, it might be more worthwhile to hold onto crafting materials than make Luxury items if you're looking for money. But Luxury items are very light weight, and I don't want to horribly destroy Skyrim's economy. If you go out on a bandit killing spree, you could easily carry stacks upon stacks of Luxury items for every piece of heavy armor. Promotional Art I've also been collaborating with our artist for something special for Luxury Collection. That's right, my modding crew just went from one up to two. As much as I'd love to use my own art, I'm a pixel artist myself (which does work out great for any pixel-based mod). But as the only coder on the team, I need to put as much time as possible into actually making mods, and not illustrating them. I'd like to get more artists on payroll, but we'll see. Much of my work outside the CIS mods is art-heavy, and as I mentioned I'm a pixel-artist, and pixel art only works for certain types of mods. In-game Testing I've also been testing Luxury Collection CIS in-game to see if it is working as intended, and watching my performance. It's a big mod that adds lots of items, so it does concern me. For the most part, it has been working really well. Vendors are stocking Luxury items, and humanoid NPCs all over Skyrim are equipped Luxury gear. From bartenders to vampires, lingerie is certainly a welcome change for me. I haven't seen any inviso-bodies, which is great. I'm even seeing Luxury items in wardrobes and dressers, which I'm stoked to see! Edit - In-game Testing I lied, I have seen inviso-bodies. But I've fixed them. . . I think. It's good thing I've been doing some extra in-game testing. Load Order I've been having trouble with Bandits and Necromancers, who haven't been spawning with Luxury items as intended. As it turns out, it's an issue with load orders, and noting more. I am not currently using any form of merged .esps or a Bashed Patch, which means I have to be extra careful with my load order. To refrain from merging mods to that I can test single CIS mods (without deactivating any .esps mid-playthrough), and in this case it is Luxury Collection CIS. Lag and Stuttering I've been experiencing some stuttering in-game, but I don't suspect it is related to Luxury Collection CIS. It happens after I spawn NPCs, and I use some very dirty saves when I test mods. I think I do everything you're not supposed to do in a save, which is probably really bad. But I regularly discard saves, as I don't play Skyrim, I just mod it. One of these days, I'd love to play a character for more than fifteen, thirty minutes haha. I know it's been a while I apologize for long this mod has taken. In four day's time, it will have been a month since I started the .esp for this mod. But good work requires a good amount of time. Enchanted Lingerie I've been doing some minor testing with custom enchantments, and I might introduce a few enchanted items in this mod. CISCore has recently been updated with custom enchantments, and I want to get work out of them. But I worry about adding too much stuff to Skyrim. I might come upon a comprise in regards to enchantments, but this mod adds over 500 new items as-is.

DatWombat Posted June 26, 2019 Author Posted June 26, 2019 Mod Update The past day or two have been more or less dicking-around with not-mod-related things. I've been easing myself into Borderlands, trying to find inspiration to mod the series once again. As for the CIS Series, I have some exciting updates. CIS Series I've spent the past few days doing some serious work on pre-existing CIS mods, and that includes CISCore. I have released new-and-improved versions of all CIS mods, including CISCore, Girl Heavy Armor CIS, Sexy Vanilla Armor CIS, and The Book of UUNP CIS. If you use any of these mods (or plan on using Luxury Collection CIS), I recommend that you get your hands on the latest CISCore (and applicable updates). The work I've done on each patch has been listed under "Updates" on each mod's respective download page. Luxury Collection CIS I originally wanted to wait to upload this mod until my artist finished a special piece. . . but long-story-short, he's not feelin' well, and I'm too impatient to hold onto this mod any longer. I did a quick check on my work, wrote a new description, and now it's here, on Lover's Lab. It hasn't seen much changes since the past few days, other than a few minor stat' adjustments I overlooked. Most of the recent days' work has been sunk into my other CIS patches, in response to the overhaul I did on CISCore. I uh, hope you enjoy Luxury Collection CIS, and I might get around to uploading another version one of these days. In the mean time, I'd like to hear from y'alls on your experience with mod. Now that I got this mod off my plate, I plan on moving onto other projects (for other games), which I'm sure I'll bring up here soon. I plan on working on CIS download pages and a "Read Me", in an effort to increase user-friendliness. That's my next goal with the CIS Series, increase user-friendliness. Also, I want to finish my CISNPC mod. I have the whole CIS series prepared for CISNPCs, but it's gonna take some work to make a few hundred (if not thousand) NPCs. We'll see where it goes, but until then, have fun with the lingerie! I want to revisit this mod one day to make it into something I might actually use. As it stands, I spent a hundred-something hours on something I don't even want in my game. But uh, one of these days I'd like to change that, but I need a break from this mod. Here's a link to Luxury Collection CIS -
