A naughy power armor idea?

I have an idea inspired by an anime i know Ive seen , god only knows how long ago or what it was called , but i cant help but think it might be a neat idea for Fo4.

The idea is sort of a robotech mech style power armor , but the center is transparent or not even there ( protected by force field ?).

anyway from there imagine that the char inside is almost in a jumping jack pose , the open area would end about the arm pit , neck and upper thigh area .

for a further idea perhaps in the center is also phallus that the charter "mounts" as part of the controls ?

Something like that has been proposed in various forms previously, and from what I remember you can not actually change the base power armor frame meshes at all, you can only change the pieces that fit onto them, something to do with the game engine itself I think.  If it could be done I would have imagined by now somebody would have done so already.

It's been done before.

The main issue would be making it work without breaking or not-replacing the power armour you come across.
I think the Navi one was separate from the default PA's, but the author probably got lost in RL stuff before making progress on that.

Replacing the base PA's is the problem, I'd imagine. At least without having to alter every PA spawn.

I could remember the navi, but could not remember it if you get my drift.

As for the screen shots of the skimpy power armor, was there every anything but screen shots, working mod or such like?  I had a quick look through that post and did not see anything else, there again it was a quick look through.

No idea if it's a 'released' mod or not, but I'd assume it's based on or is a modified version of the Navi stuff.

Haven't had a change to go look, but I've not really seen anything NSFW-Power Armour related at all outside of the Navi one.

Still, it's at least feasible to add, by the looks of things.

Not too sure I was thinking it might be something like that dwemer power armor that was show in skyrim a while back where it was just a static used in screenshots not actual in game armor so to speak.

And the posts I am thinking of are old, chances are that they are now in the archive section here rather than active topics, time was around the first/second maybe third year after the release of the game, not too sure though.

Well, given that using Power Armour changes your race, and we already have custom race mods, I don't see why it wouldn't be possible to have working (non-static) NSFW PA.

That said, I'm also not exactly an authority on the subject, so...

That makes two of us, though from what I do remember of such topics it is more to do with the way power armor works, though no real idea.  Though the fact it has not been done yet kind of implies it is either very very hard or it can not be done for whatever reasons, it could simply boil down to the people wanting to do it do not have the skills/knowledge and the ones who could do it see no reason to as it is not something that they are interested doing in themselves, and for what ever reasons will not help those who do want to do it.

Probably that, really, I'd say. Plus the ones who might be able to do so, having no interest/motivation to do it. And/or having their own projects/mods they're working on.

@Varithina Was poking around PotC then the Navi page on Nexus. This post and the PotC stuff gave the the idea.
Evidently you can use a keyword either on something currently worn, or probably on the PC, to use the Navi frame by default.

Should be able to have an ongameload() apply the necessary keyword, and/or link it to the usual MQ102 stage for exiting the vault, and apply it then. Obviously removing it mid-game would need a craftable consumable to remove the keyword.
Hell, it might be possible to add a faction, and add the PC/NPC's to it, solely for the keyword if in the faction.

Would solve the NPC/global spawned frames, the only issue I see with all of this, is changing the unworn/static frames & armour so they're not suddenly changing on use.
Only issue I see after that besides implementing all of this, is potential conflict with anything to do with Power Armour, but I doubt many people would be using something like this with other PA alterations.

Depends on how things like armor keywords/armorsmith extended and the various mods that do paint jobs for power armor work, they are the ones most likely to have problems and the keywords/armorsmith are likely to be the most commonly used mods that might do things, to be honest though the fallout 4 ck/crafting side of things does my head in so I do not really know that much about it.

Yeah, some of those apparently cause issues due to keywords for paint schemes, otherwise there's not much difficulty.

I mean it's fairly straightforward to zap out what you need from the Navi frame (See spoiler), and could do the same for the armor mods with enough time and patience. [I tested it, with the PotC Navi addon, works fine, just doesn't change frames or look right until you're actually in them]

That's about as far as I can get with OS/BS.
I could probably puzzle out some CK/xEdit shit, but OS/BS makes my brain melt, and I'm not spending 12 hours working out how to change/move a body pose in OS to match that one, so I can create a damn FG conversion >_<

Think the whole idea can be summed up by;

Quote

Theoretically possible, works to a degree for Screenshots/Clips, lacking expertise/skill necessary to actually make a reality/properly working version

Try the Breezy Power Armor(tm) www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/40760?   Breezy power armor frames may not work with your body (wonder body and CBBE for females EVB for males)

(insert silly disclaimer) ?
