Help installing tryout.

I need help installing tryout. I can get the mod running and everything, but all the custom outifts don't work. Slave girls at the fort appear as red triangles with exclamation points in them.
I got the mod to work years ago so I know I must have done somethring wrong. I should note that I am using Mod organiser.

Tryout's page says I need

SexoutNG Beta

Sexout SCR

SmallerTalk or

SmallTalk

Old World Blues DLC

Honest Hearts DLC

I know I have the dlc and talk files. Then I am supposed to download these.

TryoutAudio 09-11-2016.7zMeshes 6-2-2017.zipTextures 6-3-2017.zipTryoutMain 07-17-2017.7z

So I think my issue is with SCR but look at all the files SCR has for download

GynoChair.7z

HalstromsData-20150402.1 .7zSexoutCommonResourcesData-20140712.7zSporeRaceData-20150907.7zLoverslab SCR resources.7z.torrentSexoutCommonResources-20180318.1.zipSexoutCommonResources-20190213.1.zipSCR_Modders_Resource-20190213.1.zip

I have no idea which of these I am supposed to use.

And then there is sexout itself

SexoutNG - Bodies 1-1-1.fomod

SexoutNG - Core 2-10-97.fomod

Sexout-97-Stable--UPGRADE-FROM-96.7z

SexoutNG - Data 2-10-97.fomod

What is the difference between sexout 97 and sexout data/core?

Welcome to Loverslab.

From my Sexout Breeder downloadpage:

Quote

Step 1:NVSE Get version 5.1b4 or newer
http://nvse.silverlock.org/

Step 2: Get a mod manager. FOMM is suggested on this site, but I personally prefer Mod Organizer
https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/1334/?  (it says Skyrim in the link, but it works for Fallout 3,New Vegas and Skyrim)
Here's a huge guide to get Mod Organizer set up:
http://wiki.step-project.com/Guide:Mod_Organizer (I understand if you don't want to read everything, but chapter "Initial setup" should be followed)

Step 3: get LOOT, to sort your load order
https://loot.github.io/
Open Mod Organizer. Click on the 'Gears' button. browse to the location where you installed LOOT (Make sure you have the 'Use Application's Icon for shortcuts' checkmark selected) and press 'Add'. Now you can and should always run LOOT from Mod Organizer.

Step 4: Get FNVEdit. Even if you are never going to edit plugins, it's a very good way to find mod conflicts, missing mods nad mods being loaded in the wrong order.
https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/34703/?
Again. Make a shortcut in Mod Organizer so you can run FNVEdit from Mod Organizer. Otherwise you'll get funny results.

Step 5: Fallout New Vegas is a 32-bits game, and can't handle more than 2 GB of memory. WE WANT MORE.  This makes the game able to use more memory
https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/62552/?
it also requires "VC++ Runtime Redistributable x86" which is linked on the same page. Just place the 4GB patcher in the game folder of New Vegas and run the program, and it should update the EXE. Note that everytime you have Steam verify the game cache, it will revert the exe to 32-bits. So repeat after every 'Steam verify'.
You can also use https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/55061

Now we have all external programs installed, so we go to the section of making New Vegas more stable and less buggy.
For all Nexus links, if possible press the 'Download with manager' button, in order to get it in Mod Organizer. It saves you some time.

Step 6: Install "Yukichigai Unofficial Patch - YUP". This mod fixes a huge number of bugs from Fallout New Vegas and it's DLCS. From flying trees, to broken quests.
https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/51664/?

Step 7: JIP LN NVSE Plugin. This expands the NVSE to be able to use even more functions.
https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/58277/?

Step 8: New Vegas Stutter Remover. Improves performance and reduces 'stuttering'
https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/34832/?
WINDOWS 10 USERS BEWARE!!! In the forum of this mod are settings you should use, otherwise Fallout New Vegas will crash constantly.

Step 9: NVAC - New Vegas Anti Crash. Reduces the chance of getting a 'Crash to Desktop' or hanging system. It does not completely solve it, but reduces it greatly.
https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/53635/?

Step 10:The Mod Configuration Menu  (MCM). Requirement for Sexout-mods and other mods.
https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/42507/?

Step 11: CASM with MCM. Does your auto saving for you, without causing the game to crash (hopefully).
https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/45652/?

Step 12: UIO - User Interface Organizer. To get all User-Interface mods to work together.
https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/57174/?

Final preparations before we can get started:
Step 13: Compatability Skeleton - BnB BodyExtender FAFF NVG. A skeleton that has all features we need for Sexout (Penis, boobs, pregnant belly support)
https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/45229/?
--- Make sure this mod is never overruled by another mod!!!

Step 14: Smallertalk. Makes unvoiced dialogue visible.
https://www.loverslab.com/files/file/20-smallertalk/

Step 15: NVSE Extender (aka NX). Even more functions to add to NVSE. These are aimed at the Sexout-functionality.
https://www.loverslab.com/topic/24656-nvse-extender-aka-nx/

Now we can finally install Sexout....
Step 16: SexoutNG - Stable Release '97 2.10.97. Get the 'SexoutNG - Data 2-10-97.fomod', 'SexoutNG - Core 2-10-97.fomod' and 'SexoutNG - Bodies 1-1-1.fomod'
https://www.loverslab.com/files/file/548-sexoutng-stable-release-97/

Step 17: Sexout Resources https://www.loverslab.com/topic/22156-tutorial-scr-resources-folder-creation/

(YOU NEED ALL OF THESE)

Step 18: Sexout Spunk 1.01.04 (20171229) or newer. In order to get 'sperm' functionality. (Mod is being updated a lot, so you might see a newer version. Just get the newest one)

https://www.loverslab.com/files/file/580-Sexout-spunk/

Step 19 You could install Sexout Pregnancy, Sexout Offspring, and dozens more mods, or be lazy and install: SMMP (Sexout Maternity Mega Pack) 20180201.3 or newer. This contains a ton of pregnancy, offspring and maternity wear related mods, all in a single huge package. If your machine is more than 8 years old, it might not be able to handle this, as it's quite a drain on the system.
https://www.loverslab.com/files/file/3983-smmp-Sexout-maternity-mega-pack/

Then finally add all Sexout Tryout installation files and you are done.

First, thanks for the help. I thought I posted a message earlier but I never hit submit. I hope you don;t mind if I ask for a bit more help.

The only thing I am having issues with is Sexout Resources. I can't seem to install anything properly and I think I am misreading the instructions. I am using Mod organizer 2 and the instructions speak of fallout mod manager which I do not use.

I got the Sexout files.

SexoutNG - Data 2-10-97.fomod

SexoutNG - Core 2-10-97.fomod

SexoutNG - Bodies 1-1-1.fomod

That works fine.

But I am completely lost when it comes to 'Sexout Resources'. It tells me to create a FOMOD but since I am using Mod organizer, I have no idea how to do that.

It's written for FOMM but works for MO as well.

In link

there is also a download file that has more details

Basically you download each of the things. unpack the 'meshes', 'textures' and *.bsa folders/files into a random folder on your PC. Rename the *.bsa and then zip the entire random folder and load it in MO2.

FOMOD is just more fancier, but a regular zip will also work.

The step with creation of FMOD is only for FOMM.. That part can be ignored. The rest is perfectly relevant for any mod manger. Just compress the folder using the windows tool or 7zip etc etc. Then use your favorite mod manager (or if adventurous install manually. by extracting to the Fallout New Vegas Data folder.. however, not advised)

All it is, is a bunch of files combined. No scripts or other pesky things that usually cause problems with mod managers... also.. I used the very same thing above for my MO installs. NO problems at all.

Sexout FMOD(s) are to be installed before the resources. (ideally so that any fixes can be used to overwrite the files )

Same with all the other per-requirements.

That's what I was missing! Thanks.
