theviewer Posted May 16, 2019 Posted May 16, 2019 I recently grabbed EagerNPCs, since it looked pretty good. It seemed to install well enough, as all of the spells and items showed up. However, the actual sex seems to be eluding me, as there doesn't seem to be any way to trigger it, not even a dialogue prompt. I even tried using one of those special potions to get them "sexmad", but when I used the Detect Sexmad spell, it looked to be under no effect. The sex animations are there, I used Matchmaker for that, but I have no idea what's preventing me from doing it with EagerNPCs. Am I doing something wrong, like do I need to go into some menu I have no idea about? Below is a list of the mods I also have installed for reference. Thanks in advance for any help I can get.
Sorus Posted May 17, 2019 Posted May 17, 2019 hopefully its obvious, but did you open the mod's MCM and enable it?
wildtangent Posted May 17, 2019 Posted May 17, 2019 In dialogue there should be option that says something like [SLEN] Look what I'm wearing its the smile you gave me. there are others they all start with [SLEN]. Have you gone through the MCM menu there is a lot to set up in it. Also in my game after I set up Eager NPC's in the MCM I had to go through again, because once you close out of it your choices don't seem to register. My suggestion is to set it up the way you want it. Then save the profile. If all the option you chose didn't register, deactivate the mod in MCM menu then load profile. Hope this helps
theviewer Posted May 17, 2019 Author Posted May 17, 2019 Admittedly, I have no idea where the mod's MCM is. I thought it would be under either the "Mods" or "Settings" menu under the System screen, or in the SexLab MCM spell, but it wasn't in any of those. Is it somewhere else, or did I overlook it?
wildtangent Posted May 17, 2019 Posted May 17, 2019 To access your MCM load your save. Hit "ESC" key Under system it will be "Mod Configuration" Judging by your previous answer you probably should go through all of them to make sure they are all activated, and you might want to make some changes.

Uhhh, where is "Mod Configuration"? "Mods" just sends me to a list of mods.
wildtangent Posted May 17, 2019 Posted May 17, 2019 Have yo installed MCM It is a common requirement for most mods. You have to install skyUI https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/12604 to get MCM Are you playing on a console? Or just using the controller? If you are on a console somebody else should probably help you.
theviewer Posted May 17, 2019 Author Posted May 17, 2019 Oh, gotcha, I had no idea that I needed skyUI. And I'm just using a controller on PC.

I downloaded both SKSE and skyUI (the former due to it being a requirement for the later apparently) and this error came up. So Mod Configuration is stuck looking like this: (Unless I'm supposed to download the MCM from a different place?) For reference, I grabbed the file at http://skse.silverlock.org/ (Thank you by the way for the help so far)
Vedren01 Posted May 17, 2019 Posted May 17, 2019 3 minutes ago, theviewer said: Ok for SKSE to work Steam must already be open in your system tray, If steam isn't already running the steam startup bypasses the SKSE startup routine. Also you need to make sure you are using the SKSe shortcut and not the steam/default shortcut to start the game as it will not load skse.
Vedren01 Posted May 17, 2019 Posted May 17, 2019 Just now, theviewer said: Where would the SKSE shortcut be? (whereever you installed skyrim)steam/steamapps/common/Skrim Special Edition/skse64_loader.exe Just put a shortcut on your desktop to it and then you can set the image/icon for it and rename it so that it looks better than a generic .exe file.
theviewer Posted May 17, 2019 Author Posted May 17, 2019 Okay, everything is actually working now. The only other problem I'm having is that arousal and sex dialogue options are behaving weirdly, with them not changing no matter how much I fiddle with them in menus, or fiddle with the characters they're attached to. Also, getting some animations that are completely unrelated to what is set up. For example, getting a MFFFF animation where the actual male character is taking up a female slot, and the male slot is empty. Or a footjob when I asked for doing it on a chair.
wildtangent Posted May 17, 2019 Posted May 17, 2019 In your screen shot I see you installed SKSE through Vortex. I'm not sure if Vortex can install SKSE correctly. Vo9rtex will usually place files in the data folder, not in the Skyrim root folder(I may be wrong on this) The only file from SKSE that goes to the data folder is the scripts folder. Can you verify that steam/steamapps/common/Skrim Special Edition (Your file path may be different) folder has SKSE64_1_5_73.dll SKSE_steam_loader.dll SKSE64_loader.exe Also just noticed you are using SexLab Light you are going to need the full version of SexLab https://mega.nz/#!uJgi3AiS!PfbScPkEN-06WI6IxpmLR913dpXW6XHnw6gG6QPQkw4 You might want to post your load order. Of the 2 SexLab mods I see you are running they are both for the full version
theviewer Posted May 17, 2019 Author Posted May 17, 2019 11 hours ago, wildtangent said: Yeah, realized that having it be in Vortex wouldn't work since it couldn't locate the game application. I removed it from Vortex and moved it into its proper place. The only file that's not there from what you mentioned was SKSE_steam_loader.dll, but there's also skse64_steam_loader.dll, which might be the same thing for me. I took the 7z file from the link you sent and this error came up...not sure where to go from here. Also not sure how to get the entire load order in Vortex. The closest I could find was this: Here's also the additional mod in Vortex for reference.

wildtangent Posted May 17, 2019 Posted May 17, 2019 1) That error for skyui usually comes from altering the Papyrus memory settings in the skyrim INI If you have changed them try returning them to default which should look like this [Papyrus]iMinMemoryPageSize=128iMaxMemoryPageSize=512iMaxAllocatedMemoryBytes=76800 2) Your load order is a text file that vortex keeps in (well I found it once I'll keep looking and get back to you on this) Yes you no longer need SexLab Light
theviewer Posted May 17, 2019 Author Posted May 17, 2019 5 hours ago, wildtangent said: Strangely, stuff doesn't work unless I include SexLab Light, as animations don't load, and I only get the error when it's not included. Other than that, most stuff is working. (The only thing that might be weird is that the "# of times sex with player" doesn't go up, but that's fine, considering that relationships can still increase.) Thanks for the help so far!
SexDwarf2250 Posted May 18, 2019 Posted May 18, 2019 If you've made any changes to stuff involving animation (like sexlab, sexlab light), you will probably want to make sure you re-run FNIS. Getting SKSE working is like the gateway that separate the modding men from the boys lol, good job. It can be one of the most difficult things, too. But it is also the most powerful tool to enable the more complex mods, as well.
