On Sale on Humble Store

Skyrim SE is on sale on Humble Store.

I'm thinking about getting it.

I know there are already lots of posts about which mods are ported, which ones work, and so on; I will check them later. But now I would like to know how you felt when you changed, was it worth it? was it a positive or negative experience in the end?

se is a 64 bit engine, it's inherently more stable because of it. so bigger or more intensive mods that would only work with say 10 other mods running in LE will now run with pretty much what your system can handle. (up to the 255 esp limit) I have over 300 mods on SE compared to about 200 on LE, but i ctd alot due to trying out fresh ports with no hotfix or with no support except the 3rd-4th guy down the line from the guy/girl that actually made it for LE. So with that warning in place. your mileage will vary. but going thru the pinned post about modding for newbies made a ton of changes to mine. my sloot is just as pretty, but now so is the world around her.

I got my special edition free threw the steam store when they had special offer way back then :). Make sure you have good power system and video card and least 16 gigs or more and SSD for faster loading.

I had forgotten about stability, that alone is already a great improvement.

I missed that offer. Maybe I didn't follow the game because the first time I didn't like it very much. Much later I discovered amazing mods and then LL, and that was a game changer for me, literally.

If you want it cheap -> it's twice cheaper on Allkeyshop (12€)

Ohhh, I'm definitely getting it now!

Thank you all!

I browed the Nexus and boomarked already 472 mods to possible & probable installation! I did not expet so many.  Most of the mods I used in Oldrim are still there. It looks like I will not miss the most important ones. I am so excited.

Take a look at this thread, and Lord Molag Bal would be most appreciative if you used MO2 for your modding needs.
