Confusion on getting animations to occur and XPMSSE

I downloaded SexLab Light SE for the first time recently, and to test it out, I also downloaded Matchmaker. However, I kept getting "the spell fizzles and fails to affect actor". I believe that I needed to download XPMSSE and FNIS. FNIS was easy enough to download, but I'm getting a lot of options for the installation of XPMSSE that I'm not really sure what to do with. Could I get some clarification on what these are, and maybe what I should be doing? Thanks for any help!

For some examples (There's more, just didn't want to grab all of them in case I messed something up):

The first two are important but the rest doesn't really matter and, if you are otherwise not familiar with them, you should just leave the default as is. Your first choice deals with which, if any, physics extension you loaded. You simply have to choose the one you intend to work with. Bear in mind that you will have to load something else if you choose anything beside none (that is, other mods are needed to make these choices work).

The second choice is similar. It asks which of the mods that impact generating characters (among other things) you have chosen to use. Once again, bear in mind that this will require you to load additional mods.

As a suggestion I have opted to use the ones that are listed as a default and I believe that they are the most commonly used. You should feel free to look at your choices in more depth and decide for yourself, of course.

Okay, I followed most of that (although I decided to go with "None" for character customization, since I didn't download anything to alter that), but I am still having issues getting the Matchmaker animations to work, as they still go "Your spell fizzles and fails to affect actor".

I'll put my mod list below as reference. If I should create a different topic to talk about this specific problem, just let me know.

I am no expert on Matchmaker. I would suggest that, instead of opening a new topic, that you take that question and place it on the Matchmaker Support Thread. That way you will be asking people (including the mod author) who are intimately familiar with the mod.

Now, if you know how to get to and use the Support thread simply ignore the rest of this thread since I'm going to explain it in case you don't. Go back to the page where you downloaded the mod (in this case Matchmaker but these directions can be used with any mod). Just below the green "Download" button is a gray "Get Support" button. Click on that and you will find pages of people talking ONLY about Matchmaker. There is, in fact, a good chance that you will already see your question asked and answered. However, at the bottom of any page you can type in a post (you could, in fact, copy and paste the one you just did) and then wait for people to answer. Since there is no guarantee that they will do you the courtesy of quoting you (which would automatically notify you that someone is quoting you (as I have done) you might want to "follow" the thread for as long as you're waiting. To do this go to the top of the page where you posted. On the upper right hand side, just below the "Unread Content" button is one that says "follow." Click on this and answer the questions. Then, whenever anyone posts something on this support thread you will receive a notification.

Happy hunting.

You are using Matchmaker Light? Oldrim Matchmaker or the converted Massmatchmaker won't work with Sexlab Light, they are used with the full framework.

Okay, I found out it has something to do with its setup in Vortex. I basically had to go in an edit the stuff in Vortex. This video helped me find it:
