Before I do something really really stupid when this might be easy fix I need major help! I can load my game but it tells me skyui no loaded correctly and all the mods that need skyui! Too much time for it all to be gone!!!

It's virtually impossible to mis-install SkyUI- it consists of only two files, a BSA and a plugin, and both of them are installable with any mod manager and go into your Data folder like most mods.

Your problem is almost certainly bad SKSE installation. You posted in Skyrim Tech Support so if your question is about Oldrim, SKSE for Oldrim has an installer. You should use it. Job done.

If your question is really about SSE despite where you posted it (because LoversLab does not have an actual Skyrim Special Edition Tech Support forum :classic_ohmy:), there is no installer included in the SKSE64 download archive, and it is not possible for any Mod Manager to install it because parts of it do NOT go into the Data folder where mods go (SKSE is not a "mod") - so your only choice is manual installation. The simplest and safest way to install SKSE64 is to copy the contents of the downloaded archive's skse64_2_00_12 folder (for runtime 1.5.62) or the skse64_2_00_15 folder (for the current runtime, 1.5.73) and just paste it into your game installation folder- Steam\Steamapps\common\Skyrim Spoecial Edition. Be sure you do NOT paste it into your Data folder.:classic_wub:

I appreciate your response. No it’s skse 173 I think for original Skyrim. I was running fine for  a year and last night I ran a malware free clean up and now when I start it up it says SkyUI unable to start up maybe bad skse and all that. Something probably happened when I ran the free malaware clean up like an idiot!  I do have the Skyrim Se but I bought this one because it had more mods and easier to install
