Reginald_001 Posted May 9, 2019 Posted May 9, 2019 It's 20.. If you ever need to know. It's 20. Not 30.. like it says mostly everywhere when you google it. The default timescale for Fallout 4 is 20.. Set Timescale to 20 Dear Mod Authors: Don't fuck with the timescale, thanks!
uscno84 Posted May 9, 2019 Posted May 9, 2019 i think 20 is the default timescale for all the elderscrolls/fallout games
Guest Posted May 9, 2019 Posted May 9, 2019 it's like that since alwyas, it can be easily retrieved by console

I always thought stuff was going 'too quick', like weather and such.. I googled, then found threads saying it was 30.. so I figured that's right. Then I turned off all my mods, started a fresh new game (so I could properly test Ivy on a clean unmodded environment) and checked the timescale in the console.. it was 20.. not THIRTY. I'm so flabbergasted, cause it's so daft to have it set to 30 for such a long time. Then I decided to make this thread so that when in the future, someone googles 'default fallout 4 timescale' they'll see this thread.
guk Posted May 9, 2019 Posted May 9, 2019 Fallout 3/NV seem to use 30 https://fallout.fandom.com/wiki/Gamebryo_console_commands "In Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas, (...) set timescale to <scale> - sets the timescale, the ratio determining how fast game time moves relative to real time; the default setting is 30."
