Taak Posted May 3, 2019 Posted May 3, 2019 So, I will start saying that I'm not great at modding Skyrim, I did it a few times but it was really annoying for me because how time consuming this process is. But recently I have seen that the Ultimate Skyrim can be installed through Automaton tool and I thought to try it out, BUT I do wonder if it is possible to install US with Automaton and then add some stuff from SexLab (Animations, Quests, Armor, HDT and other lewd things) to make it more "dark fantasy". And are there anyone who plans to use Automaton on LL to make some "Greatest Hits" pack? Spoiler There was one thread here that asked pretty much the same question, and Ultimate Skyrim was mentioned there (that how I found out about it in the first place), but I really want to know about Automaton (because it can save so much time for me). There also was a nice guide on Reddit on how to make US and SL work together but it is unfortunately is deleted now. So... I really hope that anyone can help me and answer these questions If US and SL can even work together? Is Automaton any good? Can Automaton US be then expanded manually by SL mods? Also if you have any other good guides to make Skyrim look better and more dark fantasy like, please do share them with me. ?
BlutschattenxD Posted May 3, 2019 Posted May 3, 2019 Yea its possible too add LL mods i've been using like 10-20 LL mods without mayor issue the only problem you will have is that US is allready like almost 200+ plugins so you have to be selective with you LL mods. For the Performance side well i can play with constant 60 frames sometimes it dips too 50 but thats when some of the scripts are starting. For PC Spec comparison i have : I7 6700k 3.4GHz 16GB Ram 500GB SSD Samsung where skyrim is about the only game installed GTX 1070 Strix TI ASUS H110M-A Mainbaord Edit: i didnt really Count the essential LL mods like Framework and SLAL+ Animation Packs/ and Sounds to the 10-20 LL Mods so you can use some of good ones togther, That and i have some of the biggest Armor replacer for UUNP installed that go with Requiem. Automaton installs MO2 if thats what ur asking with expanding Manually you still have to use MO2 for some patching like DynDOLOD and FNIS etc.

So from the looks of it I feel like it will be better to just do it manually (it will take so much time to do ?) . Also how many plugins can Skyrim handle? I've just heard that there is a limit but not sure if it's true or not.
TheBlackSilhouette Posted May 13, 2019 Posted May 13, 2019 I think ultimately (pun!) it will come down to merging mods non-LL side to free up space. I was working on that a year ago, but stopped, wanting to wait for the Ultimate Skyrim release. I'm starting up again, but I'd like help where I can find it :)
