l3unnyl3oo Posted April 26, 2019 Posted April 26, 2019 So I've managed to do something... Â After ages of being a doofus and forgetting that the script files need to be directly in my mods folder, I finally moved them out of their folder. And then after that I launched my game and the whole save was reset back to default, apart from one household in Willow Creek that was still there. My most recent household is showing as the thumbnail for my save still (on the main screen when you click load save, my saves are still there and the picture is the household I was playing with earlier), but the household isn't in the save. All the lots are back to the default apart from one. I'm pretty sure that's how my game was when I first had the mod in so it could be something to do with that? Â It was probably about time for me to reset my save but I'm kind of annoyed as I'll have to put all my sims and the lots back in and probably cheat their relationships and fame, etc back but oh well. If anyone can help me though it would be appreciated!

I only used the one save thats broken now, aside from one other that only had one household but it seems to be fine so I've just put all my favorite sims and houses into that save.
TURBODRIVER Posted April 29, 2019 Posted April 29, 2019 I've never heard of such thing happening. Something bigger had to be involved to cause such issue. The Sims 4 is made in a way that filters out any custom content when it's removed, which it informs you about, so when you decide a mod is not needed, it's safe to remove it. WickedWhims is not an exception to it, and simply removing it will clear all data related to it without your save being ruined.
